I have been using adaptive equipment for r most of my life, when I started driving back in the 80s when hand controls we really sketchy at Best. And over the past probably 15 years I’ve been using portable hand controls, however after a couple of close calls in the last few months I decided it was time to go back to professionally mounted hand controls. So I called Mobility Works and went down there to take a look at options for safer hand washing controls that I was currently using.. Joe and. Andrew, showed me what was out there in new technology for driving. As most of us know that use hand controls it always comes down to convenience and cost. Mobility Works gets 10 stars when it comes to those two factors that I look for.
Andrew, the tech that installed them has been in the industry for over 20 years and really cares about the way in which he mounts your hand controls in your vehicle! Another thing that makes Mobility Works, a great place to go is that if you need an accessible van with a ramp or lift, this is your company hands-down the best Mobility company I’ve ever used. The hand controls they installed in my vehicle are simply easy to use ,and remarkably they didn’t even have to cut into my dash. So from there, Rental of accessible vans and the selling of accessible vehicles you cannot go wrong with these guys go above and beyond and are very professional. The price is great. The technician is amazing. Thanks again, Andrew,, for not destroying my car :-). Joe and Andrew, please keep up the great customer service!!!!

“We arrived in Utah and unexpectedly needed a wheelchair. Deseret Medical delivered it promptly to our hotel on Memorial Day weekend and we were able to enjoy all the festivities that we would missed without mobility aid. They also picked it up and left it an extra overnight so that we could use it to transport our family member to the car very very early the next morning to catch a flight.
The equipment was clean and in very good working condition.
I would highly recommend them as they have EXCELLENT customer service and GREAT communication.”
“Had to have foot surgery. I have a scooter at home from a previous injury with the hard wheels. They are not stable and quite scary to be honest.
I rented a knee scooter from here that the front wheels are like regular tires and don't try to kill you like the hard tires. It was easy and affordable! The staff were very nice and super easy to work with!

“The portable oxygen concentrator I was using came up with an error code, looked it up and saw that it said the sieve beds needed to be changed. I looked all around for this model on the internet thinking I’d be able to find the part myself and fix it. I couldn’t find it anywhere. I did however find these guys. “Action Medical has always been good for us. We have a VAdered power chair for the first timethey installed the lift and us learn how to use it. When the seat belt was eaten by the dog they replaced it My husband is a VietNam Vet and everything we have needs to be pre auth by them first. Once that process is done Action has been right on it. We now have a hospital bed too..”

“I want to personally thank Marcie, Lydia for their help over the phone with my many many calls and questions -- and especially to Rebecca for her outstanding service and customer care. Our son has special needs and we have worked with Lincare for nearly a year now. Long story short, after a few more overnight sleep tests in the sleep lab our insurance has now approved him for an ASV machine rather than just a CPAP machine. So now that we have the correct machine to address his sleep needs, we needed to find the right mask. Shout out to Rebecca for helping us find the right mask fit for our son. Unfortunately the F10 has been discontinued (which is the one we started out with). The F20 was not working well at all for our son --and Rebecca, through her kind and caring heart and listening ear to all of my concerns found us a mask that is now working absolutely fantastically well. The Amara View is a game changer. All thanks to Rebecca. She is a wonderful technician and respiratory therapist who completely understands her specialized field in this industry -- and not only that, she works diligently to make sure she communicates well with her clients. We are forever grateful to her for her hard work and her dedication to healthcare. Shout out to Rebecca!”
