“On Monday I had to say goodbye to my good old boy, baby Jude. The staff at Brookside Animal clinic was incredible through the whole horrific process.Jude was eleven when we rescued him from an abusive and scary life back in December of 2019. He had developed allergies and was miserable. He was a gigantic bear of a German Shepherd and weighed over 100 pounds. The staff at Brookside was awesome, especially during Covid when they would have to walk him without us, from our car in the parking lot. They were so patient and sweet with him as he had a very aggressive bark.If you are ever in the unfortunate situation where you have to see a veterinarian, I can’t recommend them enough. The prices is next to none. I have no learned not to “judge a book by its cover” because it doesn’t look like much from the outside. We had been going to a “bougie” vet out in Draper and it was a beautiful and pristine place, but the staff was cold and the prices were astronomical. My sister in law recommended Brookside Animal clinic because she had just lost their sweet dog and Brookside was the only vet available in the city who would let their family be present for euthanasia because of the pandemic.I arrived at Brookside Monday morning without my shoes on and our other baby dog in tow. It had been a nightmare of a weekend and I was exhausted and emotionally spent.The staff was so understanding and sympathetic to the situation and they were amazing with Jude during his last precious moments on Earth.I wish he could have passed away at home on his own, but he just kept holding on through the pain. It was an agonizing decision to make and the vet walked us through each step and didn’t seem at all bothered that we interfered with her lunch break.Thank you again to the amazing staff for taking such good care of my baby Jude!”

This office was great their price was reasonable and their staff is above and beyond friendly and treated my fur baby with kindness. I am very grateful for them.”

“First, I have to give Amanda, who is the groomer, a huge recommendation. She has been my dogs' groomer for over seven years. She is fantastic with all dogs, treats them like her own, and they always look their best selves once she is done with them. I have been a dog owner for 25 plus years, and she is by far the best groomer I have had.Dr. Payne has been my dog's vet, and he has been great. He is informative, empathetic and kind with my dogs. Recently, he had to be in the unfortunate situation of telling me that my beloved pup had aggressive cancer, which meant that the right thing to do for her was let her go. Dr. Payne and the rest of the staff were so kind, caring and empathetic; and help us through a very sudden and tragic situation.I've taken my dogs to the VCA Amor staff for a long time (even when it was Vesta Cresta) and have recommended them to all friends and family who have pets, and will continue doing so.”

“I am dead serious when I tell you I have never met a kinder set of people in my entire life . My dear little puppy was injured I could not afford the to over $200 for each x-ray that every place was asking for so I ended up calling this place and they gave me such a low price for each x-ray that my jaw hit the floor they were so kind and patient every person and not room made my puppy down very kindly and we're so gentle to her held her leg generally understood that she was injured and she was so happy she like everyone in the room every single person Kathy is a name of the head veterinarian there just an awesome person I won't go anywhere else now for x-rays or blood work it's up there I'm going to Salt lake and I'm going to go see Kathy and all her students God bless you for your kindness to us you made something possible that was impossible and I can never repay you for that never thank you again you are all wonderful. ?❤️? ”

“I had an emergency and my usual vet wouldn't fit us in. I called and VCA helped us even though we had never been there. Sadly, there was not much that could be done for my little dog but the office and vet were so amazing. They even allowed us to take her home to say goodbye to the kids and come back. “The BEST experience we've had in years. 10/10 recommend to anyone with easily spooked doggos. My boi is around 180lbs and very barky with new people and that can be scary to others! I know he would never do anything and is actually afraid of everything even gnats (not kidding) so it's so hard to find people that trust me when I say he wouldn't harm anyone he's just an easily spooked boy. These guys handled him with such grace, knew exactly who he was when we walked in(for the first time!!) and knew he didn't do well with men and went out of their way to provide excellent care for him. I can't begin to explain the sigh of relief to see my boy not terrified leaving the vet for once as no one has been this nice to him before. Even he might be excited to come back for once . Thank you, thank you!! Makes my dog mama heart so happy to have finally found ourselves a wonderful vet + staff!”

“I'll never go anywhere else. We had a litter of goldens and every one I called couldn't get me in for shots. And everyone I talked to, was super rude and couldnt/wouldn't take the time to answer questions.Those that did answer wanted to charge me way too much. It was a nightmare. Then I found the folks at the Jordan Landing Banfield Vet hospital. So helpful, got us all in and were polite and friendly. I was willing to pay them as much as the other places just for those reasons but their prices were super reasonable and beat everyone else by a landslide. I wish I had found them years ago. Thank you all so so much.”

“I took my dog in for a health certificate for travel and my dog seemed happy and well after his day at the hospital; however, communication between the front desk, nurses, and myself was not ideal. Would have appreciated being told before the appointment what documentation I would need to provide to complete the health exam. It was frustrating to be told in a call that they needed documents after I was already told by the front he was ready for pick-up and in transit!”
