“We recently stayed here for my wife's birthday and it was perfect. We've always loved going here to eat, go to events, or to spend time looking around during Christmas, but have never stayed surprisingly until now. It was everything I expected. Friendly, clean, comfortable, and beautiful. They even had an amazing little cake in the room for my wife. The views were spectacular as we were staying on the 17th floor. If you are looking for a luxurious getaway, this is your place. Also located in downtown Salt Lake so you have easy access to a multitude of great places while you're there.”

“We really enjoyed our stay. It's a nice home. They were able to work with my allergy at breakfast and made accommodations for a replacement.Safety: The unused rooms are left open. This encouraged someone to take a late night tour onto the shared balcony and try to enter our room through the balcony door into our room. I'm glad we had our room fully locked up. The hotel is locked up at night, but one must also be aware of other guests.Food & drinks: I have an egg allergy. They were able and willing to replace my eggs at breakfast. They are very good at working around a dietary restriction.”

“Ok so far, only the bathrooms need to be renovated. The sink is not in the bathroom and there is only one lamp on the ceiling... you basically shower in the dark.”

“My stay at the BW Plus Cottontree Inn North Salt Lake was awesome. I had trouble with my television and they quickly resolved the problem. The room was spotless and the customer service was wonderful.”

“The long haired front desk guy needs to go. Bye bye. But on top of that, I was waiting patiently to get some stuff from the little store they have and I watch a customer berate the clerk so much.... so much. I honestly hope that chick reads this. "Better than you" doesn't work for me. I do not like you, woman. Everyone pays the same. You and your little dog can go way down. Actually, it isn't your dog's fault that you suck.Breakfast was good. Room was good. Other than the long haired guy (that's only a description, I don't have his name), it was a pleasant experience”

“This was our first trip to Salt Lake City and we're glad we stayed at the new Le Méridien. The hotel is located downtown close to the Delta Center in the new West Quarter district. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Our room on the 10th floor was modern, clean and quiet. There is a nice rooftop bar, Van Ryder that has some amazing views of the mountains. We luckily went up the evening we arrived as the temperature plummeted later that night. The Adelaide Restaurant on the 1st floor serves a very nice breakfast and the bartender mixes some excellent cocktails. We highly recommend the Le Méridien Salt Lake City!”

“Kassi at the morning front desk was so kind, helpful and knowledgeable! And I had one of the best night's sleep ever last night, fresh sheets and bedding. And convenient to the airport of course is a plus too.I give it a 4* for the room bc a chair was damaged and the shower curtain wall connectors were shoddy but overall this hotel is still a 5*. :)”

“Delicious food. We will definitely be back! The bison Wellington for 2 was shared between 5 of us as a starter. It's a huge portion. The seafood dishes were very delicious. My friend had a Ceasar salad and he said it was the best he's ever had.”

“Great place to stay for a night or a week. Extremely friendly staff, efficient check-in process, and within walking distance of any downtown attraction. Only downside is that Lounge is currently closed on weekends, but Elite members are given breakfast vouchers. Newly renovated rooms. This property is at the top of my list for booking when I return.”

“Great place to stay downtown. Near downtown restaurants and attractions. Safe at night to walk. The downtown area is fairly clean. The hotel has a parking lot in front on the side and also in the back. Also has a twenty four hour pool/ jacuzzi. Has the normal seating area in the lobby with A? Is a pantry area to purchase snacks and items you may have left behind. And a small bar with wine and beer. And a great restaurant for breakfast and dinners. The dinners are very well done and made to order. The breakfast is not free which might be normal at other Hilton properties. The breakfast is fifteen dollars and is all you can eat which includes made to order pancakes and omelets. The service is fantastic, In the restaurant and in the hotel in general. The rooms are extremely clean and you do not have to ask for them to make up the room every morning. In room coffee pot with several coffees and tea plus mini refrigerator. I stayed a week and will be returning in several weeks and will stay here again.”

“I spent the Christmas weekend at this hotel. It's well-maintained, with friendly and accommodating staff. The rooms are spacious and pristine, indicating a new and well-cared-for establishment. The secured parking garage adds an extra layer of comfort. I'd choose to stay here again”

“Very nice Hotel. Close to the airport, and only 45 minutes to Snowbird. Restaurant/Bar has outstanding food and drinks, and great service. Nice breakfast in the morning.”

“The food served at the bar/ general dining area was expertly prepared and the service at the bar was excellent. Unfortunately, we did not stay at the hotel but we were greatly impressed by the food and fresh ingredients. The group of hotels is interesting as no development has followed. No restaurants ,fast food , Mini marts . Most unusual. The location to SLC and road system great to get to the mountains but more development is needed Thankfully we found delicious food at the Hilton. A real restaurant would be great instead of the open dining area/ bar.Food & drinks: Outstanding!!”

“Nice location, clean rooms. Staff leave a lot to be desired. Preema was the desk agent when we checked in. We told Preema we needed a shuttle to the airport at 4 am. Preema informed us that the hotel would call an Uber for us and the hotel would pay since the shuttle didn’t run that early. Preema then neglected to document anywhere that we actually needed an Uber. We arrived in the lobby at 4 am to a waiting Uber, only it was not waiting for us. After 20 minutes of back and forth with the morning desk person we finally got our ride to the airport. Luckily it was so close because by that time we had to hurry to get to our gate.Noteworthy details: None”

“I didn’t stay there. My nephew stayed there from Denver Co. We had an emergency situation where we could not locate him. Lia the front desk staff there was very understanding & helpful in our situation. Thanks to her and her going above & beyond to help was absolutely amazing. The hotel definitely gets praises for the training they give their staff. Thank you again Lia for the great service you give!! Forever in debt to you!”

“Noteworthy details: FYI - The parking garage has low clearence, our truck barely made it and our truck is not lifted. We saw a couple SUVs barely make it as well.”

“This "hotel" is very convenient, as it is on the upper campus of the University of Utah. Very convenient for parents of students matriculating here, or for family members of people having procedures at the University of Utah Medical Center. Our first room was on the first floor and it had an air conditioner that rattled all night long. The second night I requested a room with a quieter air conditioner, and they put us in a room on the second floor that was much quieter. There was plenty of parking, and as I said, very convenient if you need to be at the University. They included a breakfast, which was actually pretty decent. Many places that include breakfast neglect to include any protein, but the University Guest House had an egg omelet and either bacon or sausages, along with carbs like bagels, muffins, and waffles. They also had yogurt. Alas, there was no fruit, such as bananas or apples, so I had to take their little containers of fruit cocktail as a substitute. They had juice, Starbucks coffee (including decaf) and hot water with tea bags. All in all, a pretty good place for the price. Sadly, I was told that after the fall semester, the university is turning this into a dorm. On the other hand, this university is horribly short of on-campus housing, so a new dorm is probably a good thing.”

“I loved the cleanliness of the room. I'm very particular and our room was excellent. The design of the room was so inviting. I loved the kitchen with plates, sink and refrigerator. The pull out desk was cool. The bed was comfortable. Temperature wise the room was comfortable. Front desk was friendly. The breakfast menu had a variety which was nice.”

“Awesome stay at the Holiday Inn Express! Our flights were delayed so we had to stay in SLC for a night. The hotel was super easy to get a hold of and make a reservation.Upon arrival, checkin went really smoothly and we were given our room promptly at 3pm! The rooms were large, clean and quite which we loved! (You can't hear your neighbors even when they run the shower or flush the toilet!)Breakfast in the morning was great with lots of options; possibly one of the best continental breakfasts that I've seen.Would definitely recommend this hotel and we can't wait to come back!Rooms: The rooms were large, clean and quite which we loved! (You can't hear your neighbors even when they run the shower or flush the toilet!)The soap, shampoo and conditioner are all Dove brand and smell amazing!Beds are comfortable and gave us a great night's sleep.Safety: Felt very safe staying here!Food & drinks: Breakfast in the morning was great with lots of options; possibly one of the best continental breakfasts that I've seen.Great location to grab a drink or bite dt!”

“Everything was great until they charged my card twice. Then it was shady business from there. Check your credit card statements folks! Ziza, the manager was very rude, unprofessional, a liar and gave me the run around to get a refund. I sent them a screen shot of my statement and that wasn't enough, they wanted my entire credit card statement...ummm, none of their business. I have better things to do than to call them multiple times and dispute the charges and write a review. I ended up calling my credit card and disputing the charges. So after many phone calls and conversations with this specific Best Western and a call to my credit card company, I finally have a refund thanks to my credit card company. Waste of my time. But I assume this specific BW does this often and it's worth it to them to double charge because most people don't check their statements. They are shady! Again, check your statements!”

“Hotel room was a little dated, but overall fine. I was able to check in via the Hilton app, but my digital key on my phone didn't work so I had to go back to the front desk to get a normal key. They have a decent t selection in their market, so I was happy to grab a ready to drink protein shake at 5am before their breakfast was available.”

“My husband and I love The Anniversary Inn! We have gone for the last 6 years for our anniversary and it’s always fun to get a new themed room. However, we’ve noticed over the past years that the “quality” has gone down just a bit. When we first went 6 years ago they always had 2 slices of cheesecake in the room, they no longer do that. (Which I can understand, maybe it got expensive?) but we always order the spinach and artichoke dip, it usually comes nice and warm with an array of crackers and some tortilla chips, but this time when we called and ordered this is what we got. It was also very cold while the bowl it was in was super hot (so it had been microwaved obviously). This time it just wasn’t worth the $8 for the dip AT ALL. (This should be a $2 dip haha) I think if the quality of the Inn just keeps going down like this we probably will no longer go here on our anniversaries.”

“Mainstream flagship with small town feel…. This hotel has great mystique surrounding the history of it… both rooms were very clean, updated and some of the most comfortable beds we’ve ever slept on….Staff was very friendly and offered many suggestions for dining and shopping. Convenient location in downtown.I would highly suggest this for a downtown stay in Salt Lake….”
