Great stop for a well made turkey reuben and Mac salad too. Country, basic, honest setting that used to be what America was all about.

Cute little country store located a few minutes off the main stretch in Arlington. We stop here every year before our camping trip to stock up on local milk, bacon, coffee etc. Small but good selection of alcohol. The sandwiches are also excellent.

Totally legit Country Store. They have two of anything and everything you could need. Charming store and friendly staff.
In continual operation since the 1850s, Wayside is one of Vermont’s oldest stores. The current owner has even written a book about it! Our tag line is, “If we don’t have it, you don’t need it!” Wayside offers the community a bit of everything – food, groceries, beer (check out our craft selection!), wine, souvenirs, locally-made goods, hunting/fishing licenses, toys, and everything in-between!
