The Hotel Vervana at Bennington offers a peaceful and family-friendly atmosphere with a good value. Guests appreciate its cleanliness, quiet environment, and responsive staff, who are described as nice and helpful. The hotel features a lovely outdoor courtyard with a gazebo and sitting area, surrounded by beautiful old trees, creating a relaxing setting. Some visitors noted the rooms are comfortable, with options like outside patios or balconies that allow guests to enjoy the outdoors and hear birds in the morning. However, there are areas for improvement. The pool was often out of commission, which was disappointing, especially for families traveling with kids during summer. Guests also mentioned that the front desk staff sometimes lacked familiarity with the area or had limited English skills, making it harder to get directions or recommendations. The property is still developing, with ongoing renovations converting student housing into a motel, leading to some issues like lingering odors and the absence of an elevator, which can be challenging for older guests or those with luggage. Despite these minor concerns, many guests find the hotel to be a good stay, highlighting its potential and expressing a willingness to return. Overall, The Hotel Vervana is a quiet, clean, and welcoming place that offers a restful experience close to downtown Bennington.
This place was a good value. It's clean, family friendly, and the staff was responsive. It was only a couple bucks more than the scary motels in town. I'd recommend it to anyone who isn't rich and wants a peaceful stay in town.

This hotel is a few blocks from downtown Bennington. I stay here every week for work. The hotel is quiet, upgraded, and has a nice courtyard out back to relax. I would get the room with the outside patio's/balcony, but the one room I stayed had windows that opened so you can hear the birds when you wake up.
