Fetch the Leash! Dog Behavior & Training
85 Pearl St, BurlingtonOur vet recommended fetch the leash when we were introducing a new puppy into our family. Our five-year-old pandemic pup, Jazzy, also struggled with lack of socialization and lots of fear. Our puppy just graduated the puppy class and is doing amazing. Jazzy has started private day training and in two lessons and practice at home he’s gone from a nervous nelly to enjoying walks, his crate, training time and treats!
What I love about the courses is that you have daily exercises you can do with your dog throughout the day in little spurts. The way that Fetch the Leash taught us to train fit seamlessly into our lifestyle and beliefs.
I know will continue our work with the amazingly sweet and fun staff of fetch the leash, looking at intermediate puppy, fetch and continuing Jazzy’s confidence building!
Also don’t miss the puppy socials!

Bourbon Street LLC
11 Center St Suite 1, BurlingtonThis place is great. It's clear how much love and effort is put into this restaurant. The place seems to be staffed by just one guy, who takes all the order and cooks all the food. The ambiance is wonderful. The food is great and the portions are generous. I highly recommend the frog legs, though everything I ate was delicious.

The Wise Fool
260 North St, BurlingtonWe went the day after Thanksgiving (I know I’m slow to post) and it was packed. Plenty of take out orders and others waiting for somewhat limited seating. Good sign when a restaurant is packed! It has a good vibe with nice decor and murals. For myself, with food allergies, I was impressed that they were able to accommodate my gluten intolerance and other food issues. I’m quite picky and I loved the food. I had the chicken, sorry I don’t remember the name of it. Staff is all friendly and helpful, and the owner came by personally to make sure we were being well served. We will definitely eat there again and bring our friends with us each time we return to visit the area. Go early or be prepared to wait for seating or take it to go. I had to be a tourist and get a Wise Fool tshirt. Definite A+ from this picky food snob! My son bought so I don’t know what was spent.

August First
149 S Champlain St, BurlingtonI finally had a chance to check out this place! I was there mainly to try their famous cinnamon roll. I ordered two cinnamon rolls and two chocolate croissants. The cinnamon roll was delicious when it was warm, and I really wish they would add more frosting. The chocolate croissant was also great. If you’re planning to get the cinnamon roll, I suggest coming in early—they usually sell out before 10 a.m. The place is lovely, with friendly staff and plenty of indoor seating in a nice atmosphere. If you can, try to park early to make things easier.

Burlington Beer Company
180 Flynn Ave, BurlingtonGreat night out with my sons! (11 and 12) The atmosphere is great. We were in the lounge area and just had to walk to the counter to order and everything was brought to our table. They have a bunch of board games to play, and then after dinner we played a little in the game room.

Onyx Tonics Specialty Coffee
126 College St, BurlingtonOnyx Tonics continues to provide the best espresso in the country. It's rare to see three high quality beans available every single day, and the variety of notes they're able to provide is hard to beat. If you're a true coffee lover, it's worth the trip with notes ranging from soury citrus to smooth chocolate to the subtle teas. There's a coffee for every palette here.

Suvi’s Kitchen THAI Cuisine
370 Shelburne Rd, BurlingtonSuvi's is consistently very good. The spice level is accurate and the ingredients are always fresh. I've had the beef fresh roll before but tonight it was different. Usually the beef is a ground beef, tonight it was chopped steak. Personally I think the ground beef is better for spring rolls and had more flavor but it was still very good. The Pad See Ew was great. I got it hot and it wasn't lacking. Lots of shrimp as well.
