“I shopped here on 2/14/2026 with my 91 year old Mom and my sister. After an afternoon of errands, we realized that my Mom had lost one of her hearing aids. In backtracking, we went back to the Castleton Dollar general. Debbie, at the front register, helped me try to find the hearing aid, walking up and down the aisles with me. She took down my name and number, saying that it might be found after the night crew swept the floors. The amazing part was that she followed up with a phone call hours later to see if the hearing aid had turned up because the night crew hadn't been able to find it. I was able to share that we had found it, but I was very grateful and surprised that she followed up with me, that was definitely above and beyond her obligations. Thank you Debbie and staff in Castleton, VT for an excellent experience!”
