“If you've never been here before then you dont know what youre missing!! This place makes the BEST and i mean the BEST egg rolls you have ever tasted! Served daily, these freshly made absolutely huge egg rolls are delicious. best of all, they are easy on your wallet and a make a quick lunch for many working people. You can order as many as you need ( a lot! ) and owners are very friendly. It's less than a 5 minute drive from the diamond run mall or the hospital. There's also a deli and you can get grinders made to order. Definitely check this place out!!”

“Your basic co-op, had plenty of vegan "junk food" options which are my fav. Picked up lots of vegan food that has been hard to find in another areas. Can also grind up your own peanut butter. Looking for a sweet treat or a healthy option this place has you covered.”

“Pierce’s has an excellent selection of groceries and Vermont-made goods, even handmade items from local artists. You can tell that a lot of thought and care go into the buying, and I left with way more than I expected to find, including the cutest handmade ceramic bird pitcher. I chatted with the staff and learned about the history of the store, and how it is currently worker-owned and operated. I also noticed that the prices were lower than other shops in the area, which is remarkable for a smaller store. I appreciated finding vegan ice cream, too.”
“This place reminds me of the discount stores that you would commonly find in New York City. The employees that work there were very nice, courteous and welcoming. They even have a little deli that makes some great food and I definitely will be shopping there more often!”

“Love this Rutland Hannaford location! They have things here that are hard to find elsewhere, from gluten free products to certain liquors. (There is a liquor store inside the supermarket with a great selection which is super convenient!)”
“Was one of my most favorite experiences. -- First off, the store has a unique layout for a Wal-Mart, which is cool. Guy out front was having a heat stroke at 7am and the paramedics came. When I was walking to the clearance aisle to see what could be had, a lady was checking herself out in the mirror and yelled at me, "Maybe if I lose some weight someone will bang me!" Then I got mistaken for an employee in one of the aisles by a fellow customer, who said, "oh excuse me, can you tell me where the chicken soup is?" -- That is 30min I may never forget. Only in Rutland.”

“This is Dollar General on South Main St. in Rutland, VT. All of their garbage, cardboard, plastic etc is all getting littered throughout my moms backyard. I love shopping at this store I just don’t approve of what is going on with their garbage situation. Maybe we can find some kind of plan to clean this up and keep it cleaned up in the future!”

“I go there specifically for the egg rolls. They got the recipe for them from Sun I assume. I bought them when she owned the store.I buy them by the dozens. I wrap them individually and then freeze them. It's my favorite go-to snack.The folks that own and operate the store are si sweet and bend over backwards to make sure everything is perfect. I'm disabled and they even offer to carry my bags to the car for me. This is country store at its very best.”
