“This is a great place to fill up with gas before going to Quebec. They have a small convenience store and a mini take-out restaurant. If you need a gallon of milk, newspapers, batteries, lottery tickets, etc. and you don't want to fight the Derby crowds, then this is a great place to stop. They even have two booths so you can scratch your lottery tickets while enjoying your coffee. The staff is very friendly.”

“Really nice stop, nice that it's close to the border. Parking for a good 10 or more trucks around the loop if everyone parks right. “Stayed in a lake house in Derby and stopped here on the way back home. 10/10, best gas station I think I have ever stopped at on the entire east coast. The gas pump said self serve but a gentleman came out (possibly the owner?) to offer to pump it for us anyway, and left the choice up to us. We declined and he offered us a treat for the dog, which I accepted. I headed in to retrieve said treat, and my dog happily obliged.

To my surprise I found quite a nice selection of goods inside! Not only was there a freshly brewed coffee selection, there were some locally picked items as well as local cheese, dog treats for sale and a good selection of cold beverages and snacks.

My favorite part though was the cashier and the very nice gentleman who were both so warm and welcoming, especially to the pup. If I’m in this area again I will definitely be returning here!”

“Been there several times and its no different than the ones in Southern CT. Customer service is decent, prices reasonable and the place seems efficient. Parking can get tight, so be careful.”

“Maplefield's is an absolute asset to downtown Newport, Vermont. With so many empty storefronts, it is great having a place like Maplefield's to stock up on everything from groceries, beverages, gas and more! It is our go to for coffee in the AM, especially when our Airbnb is a mere block away! As the future revitalization of downtown Newport gets underway, Maplefield's will certainly be a huge part of that.”
