“BUY EVERYTHING AT JACOBS! This may be a first - reviewing a store I've never been to - but there are all kinds of firsts during a pandemic! One thing is for certain, I cannot wait for the opportunity to visit the market in person, and the family there have completely renewed my faith in humans and genuine kindness. My brother is moving to the area and our family was not able to help him due to the current conditions. I called the market to see if I could at least get a gift certificate or something to help stock his fridge as he arrives into a new state alone. Heather answered my message almost immediately and set off on a herculean effort of not only putting together a giant cart of incredible necessities and delicacies, but also delivering it. It was true customer service and hospitality - sure. So much of that has disappeared in today's world, so it was refreshing to receive such top notch service without any expectation. But beyond that it was just kind, thoughtful, and above and beyond any expectation. I wish I could shop there every day, but at least my brother can. Thank you, Heather and Jacobs Family Market! I am so grateful for you, and so excited to see you in the future! And everyone local in VT- go shop there all the time!”

“This place is very misleading. Step inside and you will find that they scratch-make all their food; their yummy pizzas, meat-filled Samosas and other tasty, fresh food. You won't get frozen reheated, here. The effort pays off... my favorite is the Buffalo Chicken filled Samosa, but they do have others, I have yet to try.”

“Surprisingly many options for size of store. Priced similar to chain grocery stores, which is surprising. Most little markets mark items up. Always friendly staff.Unfortunately no public restrooms. If you're on a road trip and need a break, may wanna wait until the next place.”

“I love Robbie and have been going to Bob's Meat Market since I was a young child with my dad and Robbie's dad ran it. (RIP) I got lollipops! LolWhen I want a quality cut of meat, this is the only place I'll get it. He's an actual butcher and does it well! Very friendly to customers. ❤️????”

“My visit was brief but, on entering the store it appears to be well stocked with the necessary staples for the residents. There is also fuel pumps on site. My reason for being here is that it is One of Very Few Big Game Reporting Stations left in Vermont. The attendant here, a young woman, was most Helpful and Personable.”

“I have never been inside this Hannafords. However, since COVID I have been doing a weekly curbside pickup there. And for that, I have to say, they are fantastic. I have been late for pickup; I call and they say no problem. I have to change pickup time; I call and they say no problem. One time there was a small mis-hap with the way my groceries were packed last week. I called to inform them, not really to complain. They had a new person learning how to do it. Anyway they gave me a $20 coupon for my next visit. The website for ordering is not bad; it is daunting at first but once you have your regular items sorted out it's a breeze to create the next order. They also have a pretty good selection of organic, vegan, and dairy-free items.”

“How do you rate a Dollar Store fairly? This Dollar Store is good size, with lots to offer from groceries, clothing, makeup and household supplies & items! It is a bit disorganized & often out of a certain item for weeks at a time! Staff is usually pretty friendly, but don't get attached to one person. Turn over is high! Good store for pretty much any last minute need for adults, babies, kids and even pets!”

“Steeple Market catered an early Thanksgiving meal for my work last week for 70 people. So many compliments on the turkey and all of the fixings. Turkey was moist, and mashed and sweet potatoes, veggies and stuffing were all great. Food was ready when promised and loaded into the car efficiently. Highly recommend.”
