“My visit was brief but, on entering the store it appears to be well stocked with the necessary staples for the residents. There is also fuel pumps on site. My reason for being here is that it is One of Very Few Big Game Reporting Stations left in Vermont. The attendant here, a young woman, was most Helpful and Personable.”
“Solid go-to garage to keep your cars on the road with fair pricing. Book well ahead for seasonal services but can usually fit an appointment into the next 2 weeks.”

“We had our furnace replaced and are grateful for the excellent work done by the Patterson technicians. We also appreciated the ability to get us scheduled in a shorter timeframe as we faced having no heat or hot water. We know how busy things are and it certainly showed us that Patterson truly cares about its customers. We are very happy to be one!”
“These guys went beyond most shops that I've been to. they got me in with a blown tire and back on the road fast, without an appointment ! Also got a oil change and inspection that was long overdue, at the same time! Great first time experience when I was stressed out. Thanks Mike and crew!”

“Great spot to pick up your gasoline on your way to our from BTV or just cruising the local byways. The gals working cashier are dedicated and kind and made my day by being good to the local fellow in line in front of me and to each person who came in when I was there. A lot of people can't be bothered to smile or to be personable anymore, and as someone who also works in retail and customer service, I really appreciated their good attitudes and that they were efficient without being the slightest bit rude or rushing anyone. It was a pleasure doing business with them.”

“Lisa, Lisa, Lisa! Can we just stop for a second and talk about how lucky this business is to have an employee like Lisa!? I have never met somebody who goes out of their way more than she does. She is incredible at multitasking, moves the line along quickly while still being friendly, knows the price of every item & whether they have it available/in-stock, and knows nearly every customer by name. My boys are huge fans of her hashbrowns and beg me to stop at this gas station!
With 4.8 rating and employees who have worked there for years… Somebody is doing something right! Well done!!!”

“I went there to get change for the nearby car wash. The clerk graciously broke my $20. When I asked about the peanut butter man biscuits she had in the milk bone box at the window she offered me one. When I asked are these for dogs? She told me ‘ I gave it to you ‘ and she kept a straight face.”

“We have done business with Rowley Fuels for 35 years and they have always been reliable as our fuel dealer and furnace tech/maintenance provider. Recently we had a catastrophic event due to flooding in our basement which necessitated getting a new hot water heater and a new furnace system. We had many interactions with multiple employees and all were extremely helpful in solving multiple problems. We ended up changing our system from oil to propane, mainly to get oil tanks out of the basement. We have since had mechanical engineers and a home inspector comment on what a beautiful job they did installing our new system. Very professional and nice people to deal with.”

“I have been a customer of this business for at least 40 yrs. As a woman, I feel they have always been courteous, honest a have never been talked down to. These mechanics do great repair work and routine maintenance. After they work on my car I know my family and I will be safe on the roads.”
“They make coffee, like normal, tasty coffee brewed in a pot. It's not watered down, it tastes like clean coffee which tells me they clean their stuff well. Love the building in general and the staff is pretty darn laid back and cool”

“The staff here is friendly. If only there were more space in the parking lot to move cars in and out. Of course, that is not within the store's control. They sometimes seem to have people 'hanging out' in the store in the evening, maybe socializing with people who are working. But that isn't a problem for me. We buy a lot of gas with the SmartPay card”

“Not sure why Google wants a review of a gas station, but here goes. I needed a restroom and their's aren't too bad-for a gas station. Gas is expensive everywhere, as are the convenience stores built into them, so everything is just as expensive as you'd likely think. No, Google, I certainly wouldn't call it scenic, cozy, or romantic, but I would say if you need gas, or to use the, facilities, or maybe a junk food or lotto ticket fix, it's not as awful as other stations I've frequented.”

“We were in town for a few days and twice visited Rene's. Both times, they had what I needed, fire wood, and were friendly and accommodating! I spoke with who I assume is the owner, her daughter and tall young man who I believe was her son. Very nice guy and pleasure to talk to!”

“I come to this station all the time. The staff has been great and very helpful. The reason I'm writing this review today is because of the woman that works here with the glasses, long straight hair( sorry I don't know your name). This morning I was in line behind a woman that wanted a pack of smokes. She was extremely worked up and very rude. The woman behind the counter was very calm and nice. She was able to talk to this woman and let her know that was whatever she was upset about is ok and take deep breathes. Now this sounds weird, but if you were there, this woman went from the angriest person to very calm and admitting times are hard and apologized to the woman working the register. I was very impressed. Great service. Small things like this can change persons day or week. Thanks!”
“Let me tell y’all, this gas station is one of the nicest I’ve ever been to. It’s always clean as a whistle, no matter what time of day I stop in. The folks who work here are just the kindest morning linda, Harland, the deli crew and the management team, and during night Trisha that new guy Ted and the manager sometimes, whenever they always greet you with a smile and treat you like family. The food’s actually really good too, way better than what you’d expect from a gas station. You can tell they take pride in what they do. And the location? Super convenient. Whether I’m headin’ to work or drivin’ home late, it’s right where I need it to be. If you’re in the area, don’t think twice this place is worth the stop every time.”

“My wife and I came from New Jersey to see a friend living in Milton, Vermont. We stayed overnight a couple of days at Homewood Suites in South Burlington. As we prepared to head home, we stopped to top off our gas tank at the INTERSTATE SHELL gas station located at 1055 Williston Road, South Burlington, Vermont 05403. The owner Tariq was extremely friendly and hospitable. He saw the New Jersey license plates on our Buick wagon and conveyed to us the story about how he previously lived in Clifton, NJ and hopefully will return there again (considering the fact he still has family living there). Tariq went above and beyond what I expected from him. I do not know if we will be heading back into the South Burlington area any time soon but if we do, I will stop in to see Tariq to say hello and ventop off the tank.”
