Base Camp is an outdoor gear and bike shop in the heart of Killington. It is an amazing ski shop and a full service bike and rental shop. The team is knowledgeable, friendly, super nice, and awesome, providing great service and excellent advice on different ski equipment for adults and for kids, as well as for bikes. They carry top touring and tele brands and bikes from several major manufacturers. The shop offers very good prices and better value for money than other shops on the mountain. They come to the rescue for repairs, even sourcing discontinued items for older gear with a great turn-around time. They are also a reliable place for last-minute rentals and new gear, with items like freshly waxed skis. For bike repairs, they are experienced and efficient, carrying specialized parts and completing work quickly. Service is consistently friendly and highly recommended, especially for anyone traveling to the Killington area or on the way to Sugarbush resort.
Great spot. Friendly staff, essential gear and cold beer! Ideal spot to hang out and have a beer after riding the local trails. We come back every summer, and the place gets better every year; continuously adding more brands and good gear!
