“I rented from here and Liam was great to get us into a pair of boots and skis in no time. Quick and easy process with great pricing. Skis and boots were in great shape and clean”
“I corresponded with Evan, customer service manager, and cannot say enough about the promptness and kindness shown to my email inquiries. He topped off my wonderful experience I had skiing at Killington! Such an asset to the team!”
“Ben & Erica at Base Camp are fantastic. This is not your average mom-and-pop ski and bike shop. They’re family-focused, but also firmly on the cutting edge—especially when it comes to modern bike and ski technology.
New gear is a real investment, but they stand behind everything they sell. They’re not interested in sending anyone out the door with unsafe, low-quality, or poorly matched equipment.
Downstairs, the bike and ski techs are extremely knowledgeable and will genuinely set you up for success. On top of that, they offer a standout snowshoe guide service that’s a great non-ski alternative and excellent value. It’s easy to book trips through their website, and it’s a simple, family-friendly way to get outside for a few hours. They can add touches like s’mores and a fire pit experience as optional add-ons.They also do bachelor and bachelorette groups, adventure outings for companies etc.
If you’re staying at an Airbnb or looking for a reliable ski/bike rental, service, or gear shop, this is the place to check out. Just know it gets busy during peak season and weekends—locals love it, and it’s a hub right on the Access Road, making it an easy stop for last-minute gear before heading up the mountain.
They don’t carry junk; while they really do have a selective and solid used selection, the priority and goal is always getting you into quality equipment that actually performs.
Whether it’s your first time in Killington or your hundredth, this should be your first stop if you want to get set up for success.”
