Magic Mountain is an independent, throwback, soulful ski area in nearby southern Vermont with new investment enhancing snowmaking, grooming and lift service for all ski and riding abilities. The New Quad to the summit provides 1500 vertical feet of skiing with no lines and uncrowded slopes. In the summer/fall Magic offers a beautiful wedding venue, and music events with a huge outdoor deck. In addition, Fall also offer chairlift rides for leaf peeping on Saturdays. The Black Line Tavern at Magic is a place for great food and beers on tap with live music year round. The ski area can be rented out for private corporate and family events on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays during the ski season. Magic is where skiing still has it soul.
Sick mountain. I was there on a “sold out” day and it wasn’t even crowded at all.

I’d keep my mouth shut about this wonderful place but they limit lift ticket sales so I dont think there’s tons of risk…
A gem where the spirit of skiing is alive and well. This place is all fabulous fall lines and dense trees. A real locals ski area with the history to prove it.

Came to Magic and had an amazing time. The renovations to the lodge were great. The food amazing. The staff was very pleasant. Less than 100 cars. No pay to park. A highly recommended ski area with all kinds of terrain and a throwback vibe.
