“We had an awesome experience at Jackson Gore. Hands down, it has one of the best beginner magic carpets I’ve seen. The beginner runs are huge — which makes a massive difference when you’re learning. You actually have time to practice your turns and build confidence instead of feeling like you’re at the bottom in 30 seconds.

I was teaching my wife how to snowboard, and it was perfect. It wasn’t overcrowded, so she could focus without feeling rushed or pressured. For anyone trying to help a true beginner, that space and breathing room is everything.

After that, I brought my two boys up on the lifts, and the mountain is just absolutely amazing. Great terrain, beautiful views, and something for every level. It turned into a perfect family day on the mountain.

Jackson Gore really nailed it for beginners and families. We’ll definitely be back.”

“We decided to spend Christmas in Chester this year, we stayed four nights at the Inn Victoria. It turned out to be a fantastic choice as the inn is beautiful! Danielle and Seth made us feel very welcome and we shared a Christmas prime rib dinner that was delicious. The inn is warm and very clean. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Thanks so much for making our stay special we look forward to our next stay.”

“Stayed here for 5 days and it was okay. For the price, I feel it should’ve been better. The pictures on their website are misleading a bit. Our king room left much to be desired. There was a jetted tub with no working jets and the shower pressure was meh. The gym and restaurant are located apart from hotel, which was a bummer. The restaurant is super fancy and expensive, which is fine, except when you just want basic food not beef Wellington. They offer breakfast upstairs but it’s $17 a person, buffet style if you want hot food. Otherwise it’s $10 pp for cold options (not sure what was offered). The game room requires coins to play, there’s a change machine. The pool is not heated and it’s pretty small. The location is the saving grace since we came for Okemo. The little town you drive through does have a lot of food options, but again, very pricey for what you get. There’s no food delivery available (door dash, grub hub) so you have to drive. Also, no microwave in the room really was a bummer…you can ask front desk to warm food up for you, but it’s still inconvenient. The staff is really friendly and I appreciated the nice gesture of leaving a “happy birthday” gift in the room for my husband. Overall, we would stay here again, just will plan better by bringing snacks and non-perishable foods that don’t require cooking. If you can afford it, book the full suite that comes with the kitchen!”
