“We had a good stay at Stanford house - a small motel style place but a much upgrade from a motel experience. Rooms are ok, beds were comfortable, the bathroom was clean & bath area big. Water pressure & hot water was sufficient. Microwave & mini fridge in room.
We enjoyed watching a thunderstorm approach over the mountains from the Adirondack chairs outside. The common fire pit is a good addition- nice to sit around it in the evenings. The owner is a pleasant fellow.
Will stay again - a peaceful place”

“Been staying at Toll Road the last few Winters to Ski at Stratton. Owners Mike &. Virginia are Great Hosts. What I like most is that Property & Rooms are always Spotless Clean. I’m a little Nostalgic and The Toll Road have that throwback feel, yet NEW… not like so many smaller Motels in VT that are still using Carpet, Bedding from the 60’s. HOT TUB after skiing is a PLUS… Highly suggest staying here as its the BEST VALUE in the Manchester Area”
