“The Wilburton is a truly special place. My family and I read about it in Yankee Magazine which featured its annual Doggy Slumber party. The mansion (main part of the inn) was decorated so beautifully for Christmas and the party was amazing. A chartreuse from NYC performed Christmas songs as we sipped champagne and delighted in the warmth of the season. Melissa (owner) couldn’t have been more accommodating and was genuinely so happy to host and entertain the guests. We stayed in the Presidential Suite which was very clean, comfortable and well appointed. It even included a full kitchen and laundry room— perfect for our family trip!A magical stay for sure and we will come back annually to enjoy this new family tradition at the most lovely Wilburton Inn!”

“I was in Vermont scouting places for an upcoming documentary film and decided to stay here at The Inn at Manchester.I had an absolutely amazing stay at The Inn and most relaxing. I arrived later in the evening and was greeted by the most friendly and professional team. After checking in they provided a full tour of the Inn and left me to enjoy this amazing place. The breakfast was a delightful start to my day, with the eggs, sausage, and buttermilk pancakes being absolutely scrumptious. The rich aroma of freshly brewed coffee further enhanced the experience, setting the perfect tone for our day of relaxation and exploration. The historical estate exuded old-world charm, complete with wood-burning fireplaces that added warmth and character to the atmosphere. The comforting scent of applewood burning made our stay even more enjoyable, and the Cinnamon suite provided a cozy and inviting space for us to unwind. As I woke up to a light snowfall, the morning revealed the true essence of country life, capturing a serene and picturesque scene that truly added to the charm of our stay. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a peaceful and unforgettable getaway.I truly hope this review captures the essence of your wonderful time at The Inn at Manchester.Thank you from the Essence of Travel and Discoveries, a KAMAR Media Film Production Company.”

“Such an adorable inn in the Manchester area. I ended up booking this place bc the hotel my friends were staying in was like $800 a night versus the $200 something here. Honestly, this place was waaaay nicer too, in my opinion. My room was large, even if somewhat outdated, but God, the view of the forest from the room's large windows was unbelievable. I was mesmerized watching the falling leaves from the trees. There was a lounge area on the first floor with a coffee bar, seating, games, etc. I wish the fireplace was going, but my girlfriends and I split a bottle of wine and hung out for a few hours. Awesome inn that I would definitely stay at again.”

“Being old we ate early. 5:00pm. Only two other tables for most of our meal, which was absolutely delicious. I had one of their specialties, calf's liver. Not a meal for everybody but as good as at our favorite Italian restaurant in Manhattan or as my Italian father made it. NYC prices but worth every penny. The wines that are sold by the glass are not usually top tier. The Pinot Noir that we had was. Strongly recommend eating here.”

“What you'd expect from a Kimpton property: nice rooms, well-equipped with ironing board, yoga mat, etc., dog-friendly. Attentive staff, including housekeeping. Free EV charger. Minor gripes: wifi was spotty, real (not disposable) coffee cups would be nice. Rooms facing Main St. get a lot of traffic noise.”

“My fiance and I stayed here for a weekend getaway in August 2020 and it was just what we needed. The pool was clean, as well as our rooms private hot tub. The room was super cute and spacious. The Yeti cooler that is provided help keep a few cocktails cool to enjoy on our back deck. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Many hiking trails near by and a variety of restaurants down the road. I would recommend this motel to anyone!Nearby activities: Many hiking trails nearby and a variety of restaurants.”

“This motel is such a cute little spot. The owner is so delightful and thoughtful. The most important feature for me has been the location and the friendliness to dogs, and I can vouch for both! The rooms are comfortable, clean, and well furnished, and you can park right next to your cabin. I've been there a couple of times already, with a couple more visits in the books already.”

“I’ve been a guest of The Palmer House hotel each of the last 3 years. I’ve always been more than satisfied with my experience. However, this ski season has been outstanding. There are added staff the reside on the grounds. As a result, the service is greatly improved. The rooms are serviced faster, the indoor pool and hot tub area is cleaner, fresh towels are restocked daily and there is a brand new hot tub.All staff are extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the area. There are two front desk managers that stand out, Jackie and Mike (runs the night desk). The grounds are well maintained and the parking lots are efficiently plowed.I strongly recommend this property if you are planning a stay in Manchester.”
