“What a gem! We have yet to stay anywhere else when we ride killington! Literally just minutes away from the mountain! The new owners have been revamping quite well since they took over! It appears they really have taken the time to think of everything, and they continue to do so! Everything you need is at one fantastic place to stay in Mendon at a fair rate! Thank you, Mark and Venetia for continually having us!Rooms: Very nicely set with comfortable beds!Nearby activities: skiing, hiking, bikingFood & drinks: No on site dining, but they have an assortment of snacks and refreshments and a great continental breakfast!”

“This was a beautiful establishment with very thoughtful decor. We felt right at home. The Snowed inn is centrally located around skiing, dining and shopping. All your needs are considered as they offer beverages, food, and great hospitality! Loved it and loved our hosts!”

“Such a fantastic experience! You will feel like you are in a Hallmark movie when you are here. Visited over the Thanksgiving weekend (2 friends) and had a relaxing and fulfilling experience! The Farm and Inn are very well maintained. The meals are truly out of a magazine with such a friendly family who runs the farm. You will not feel like a stranger here. We got to take a farm tour while we were there which was my favorite part of our stay. We got to seeing how the milking process works, feed baby calves and milk a cow.Food & drinks: freshly made everything.”

“Beautiful inn with extremely friendly staff. Our suite was absolutely gorgeous and the amenities were top notch. The location was awesome as we went to Killington a couple of days and the drive was barely 15 minutes. My fiancé and I will absolutely be returning to this inn next time we go to Killington.Nearby activities: Less than 15 minutes to Killington and Rutland”

“Killington Getaway Perfection: A Greenbrier Inn Love LetterLet me tell you, finding the Greenbrier Inn wasn't just a stroke of luck – it was a game-changer for our Killington ski trip. From the moment we stumbled upon its glowing online reviews, we knew we'd hit gold. And boy, were we right. This charming haven tucked away near the resort is about as close to ski-in/ski-out bliss as you can get. Plus, with an abundance of restaurants just a hop, skip, and jump away, post-shredding refuelling is as easy as pie.But the Greenbrier's magic goes far beyond its prime location. It's the people who truly make it shine. Steve, the heart and soul of the Inn, is simply phenomenal. He didn't just meet our needs – he anticipated them. A warm welcome call before our arrival? Check. Rooms magically ready before our official check-in time? You bet. Steve's genuine hospitality made us feel like the only guests there (even though we weren't!), and his infectious enthusiasm fueled our ski-trip spirit like a double espresso.Honestly, words can't fully capture the essence of the Greenbrier Inn. It's a place where comfort meets convenience, warmth meets efficiency, and genuine care trumps all. It's the kind of spot that makes you sigh with contentment as you sink into your cozy bed after a day on the slopes.Rooms: Rooms were very clean and well put-togetherSafety: Incredibly safe areaNoteworthy details: Amazing host! Discounted lift tickets can be purchased through the Inn.”

“I first stayed at MML in the 80’s during a high school ski trip. At that time, the barn had undergone one renovation. A kitchen had been installed, a wood floor laid out, and 8 seat round tables deployed. Now, two renovations later, it’s not recognize able from the inside. Super nice; beautiful fireplace. Chef made a custom breakfast for each of us.The rooms have been upgraded as well. I really appreciate the heated floor in the bathroom. My boots and gloves dried out over night.Mountain Meadows Lodge is very convenient to Killington and the bars, although it is off the beaten path. Moguls is the hot spot for music; so is The Pickle Barrel.”

“We had our wedding here in August and could not have had a more wonderful experience. From the second we visited the Trailside Inn to see if it was a good fit for our wedding, we knew we were in good hands. Josh and Ann were superb to work with: responsive, organized, informative, compassionate, and so helpful. They're both wonderful hosts and wonderful people. The venue itself is also a gem. The photos on their website and blog speak for themselves and we appreciated how we maintained the whole property was. If you're considering the Trailside Inn, DO IT!”

“New owner so don't get fooled by older reviews. They had just reopened when we stayed in September and were happy to give us a full tour. He went above and beyond during the entire stay-- walked us to our room, customized breakfast time, and dinner recommendations. The rooms have all been remodeled but the public areas saved the retro charm. Only complaint is that it was a little noisy at times.”

“We had an amazing weekend at the Summit Lodge. Our original trip was Thursday night - Sunday morning checkout. We enjoyed our stay so much we ended up staying Sunday night as well! The hot tub was clean and large, and we loved the outdoor plunge pool. A huge highlight for us was the pub which offered delicious entrees and great service. The staff was incredible kind and accommodating. Overall perfect weekend getaway for a couple - we will definitely be coming back.Rooms: Our room was very comfortable and clean! Our only wish was that there was another night stand.”

“Whenever I ski at Killington I book lodging at Mountain Sports Inn. I love this place, and have been returning for years. The people are friendly, the rooms are spacious, and I feel warmly welcome. The hot cooked-to-order breakfasts, included with your stay, are especially enjoyable. Eating every morning with other skiers who want to talk about skiing is fun. The drive up the hill to Killington is not far. The parking lot at the Inn is always carefully cleared for guests. There is a ski tuning room right near the entrance as well, and a gathering area with a fireplace and tables and chairs and couches. I heartily recommend staying at the Mountain Sports Inn. I wouldn't go anywhere else.”

“I stayed a few years back and for less than $20 a night it was sufficient. The owner was nice and likes to talk with her guests. There are cats ducks chickens and gardens. Bring your house shoes because outside shoes are not allowed in the house. The group dinner was quaint. I liked the fresh greens salad from the garden. The well water is hard. The people living there are friendly. The location is second to none if your going into the National Forest.”
