“Thinking its called Westmoreland general store now. Awesome sandwich/burger counter. A great lunch stop for a hot meal! Even ice cream window in the summertime. Plentiful drink selection and even some take home and reheat meals. Must stop if your traveling route 12 north of keene. Lots of local and unique products as well.”
“I made my first purchase with Penelope Wurr during the height of Covid in 2020. I called the shop and had some very special items shipped to me in Nashville. Fast forward a few years and now I travel to Brattleboro several times a year and this shop is my favorite part. This is the most beautifully curated boutique. The price range of items makes it very accessible but also brings treasures I’ve never seen anywhere else. I have purchased several items of block print cotton clothing that are some of my most treasured possessions. I have pottery and mugs from this shop that bring joy daily. I hope Brattleboro continues to support this shop as it should because it’s truly one of a kind. I wish there was more available online to order but I imagine how hard that would be for the owner. I can’t wait for my next visit!”

“The VT Gift Emporium is a great place to browse items created by local artists and vendors. A newly renovated building with plenty of free parking leads to a nice showroom full of items from maple syrup to custom tables, and all things in between. You never know what you'll find in here, as it has a way of changing a little bit each time I come in to shop.”
