“My ice cream here was phenomenal! I’m a very picky ice cream eater. I do not like that granulated ice feeling on my tongue. I like smooth, creamy, flavorful ice cream. This place delivered. My chocolate was deep richly flavored and my husband’ s maple creamy was the best he’s ever had. Surely worth another trip!”

“Thinking its called Westmoreland general store now. Awesome sandwich/burger counter. A great lunch stop for a hot meal! Even ice cream window in the summertime. Plentiful drink selection and even some take home and reheat meals. Must stop if your traveling route 12 north of keene. Lots of local and unique products as well.”

“Cute place to shop. Lots of venders. I just asked them for anything that would make s good gift and they had several recommendations. Definitely worth it to shop from local vendors. I don't know why they aren't busier. Turn to get in can be easily missed. There's plenty of stores inside the building. Only downside is there's not great signage once you're inside. Definitely something they need to work on that could help them get more business.”

“I made my first purchase with Penelope Wurr during the height of Covid in 2020. I called the shop and had some very special items shipped to me in Nashville. Fast forward a few years and now I travel to Brattleboro several times a year and this shop is my favorite part. This is the most beautifully curated boutique. The price range of items makes it very accessible but also brings treasures I’ve never seen anywhere else. I have purchased several items of block print cotton clothing that are some of my most treasured possessions. I have pottery and mugs from this shop that bring joy daily. I hope Brattleboro continues to support this shop as it should because it’s truly one of a kind. I wish there was more available online to order but I imagine how hard that would be for the owner. I can’t wait for my next visit!”

“These folks are the BEST! I had my engagement ring resized twice since getting pregnant & having my baby. Brilliance did it both times, but then the gold band eventually became too thin & broke from how often I resized it. They fixed the band free of charge which shocked me as gold is very expensive! Thus saving my husband's great grandmother's ring to live another day. They also fixed a rug of hers we inherited that I brought in for repair & restoration. CANNOT recommend their expertise enough!”

“Great place to get gifts. Inside a mini shopping mall type of thing. Lots of keychains, shot glasses and keychains. Plenty of parking. Doenside- hard to know where you are going once you walk in the building.”
