Beautiful farm with happy sheep and a cute little self-serve cheese shop. Our friends often send us this cheese in the mail as a special gift from Vermont and it is SO GOOD, so when we came to visit we wanted to go see the farm. We said hi to the lambs, got lots of cheese and skyr and ran into a farmer that let us come...

Vermont Shepherd Skyr is absolutely wonderful stuff. So fortunate to live nearby and be able to access something this delicious. No, it is not inexpensive, but I, for one, am happy to pay a premium to support locally made food, presented beautifully, making gorgeous use of the land. And sheep. Always sheep.
