“Sensible Shoe is the most amazing shoe store! They have a wide variety of quality footwear, and, more importantly, the staff there is top notch. The care they gave to my hubby today (he just turned 88 & has dementia - not always the easiest customer). 3 staff people waited on him - 2 made his sneakers easier to fasten - no more tying! And 1 suggested these beautiful slip-on loafers that I never would have thought of, but they’re great, & he loves them! I will never take him anywhere else. Thank you, Sensible Shoe - you guys rock!

“I searched far and wide in New England for a shop that could re-sole a pair of well-loved Lowa Zephyr boots. It's a challenge because of the way the soles are molded onto the uppers. But a very capable craftsman at the Lenoci's section of Balanceworks was able to meet the challenge, somehow stripping off the worn soles and affixing new ones--which I've road-tested extensively with lots of outdoor work. So however the new soles are glued/bonded/fitted, it's a great fix. True craftsmanship.”
