“What a great stop today. Our guide was so helpful. She does not claim to be a dowser but could explain the basics of the art to us. She gave us material to study and use at home to see if it would become an interest for us. I was impressed that there is so much more than dowsing for water and am grateful that the hose was open to receive us and answer our questions. Parking is abundant and no appointment required. No fee but donations are appreciated.”
“A few friends and I stopped in while visiting for the eclipse and it was the second best thing that we got to experience that day! This place is an absolute book lovers dream! There is such a wide variety of books; ranging from the most niche to some more popular prints. I could have easily spent my whole day rummaging through all the shelves, boxes, and nooks and crannies that books were stored in! Also, the passion that the owner has for her store is unmatched and she has curated a wonderful selection of books for every reader! The next time I venture up to northern Vermont again, I'll make sure to stop in and do some more browsing and buying of treasures :)”
“Given the size, it's not the biggest, there is a very large selection. They have most big name new releases in most categories. They also maintain this selection while being a candy story, a coffee bar, and a Lego store.
I usually go here when I want to buy a new book, either as a gift or for myself. I would like to see more linguistics and adjacent material but it's a niche field.
If I was to rate each component I would give a:
5 for the books
4 for the candy
4 for the Legos (plus toys)
And 3 for the coffee.”
