About Camp Skyland, LLC
Camp Skyland is a family-owned and operated seasonal campground located right on Lake Champlain in South Hero. It offers a friendly, relaxed, and very clean atmosphere. The campground features lakeside field camping for tents and small RVs, along with rustic cabins. The panoramic views of the lake and both the Green and Adirondack mountains are amazing. Its location is perfect for accessing the bicycle trail to Burlington and exploring Hero's Island. Guests appreciate the clean flush toilets and showers, as well as the helpful and easygoing owners. The private shale beach provides lake access for swimming, kayaking, and launching small boats. While the campsites are more open and not very private, many find them peaceful and safe, especially the sites right on the water. Some sites are on an angle, which can be a minor inconvenience. Overall, it is considered a unique, super location with a wonderful vibe for a Vermont stay.

Away from urban hustle, a place to just relax. Cabins are clean and nicely kept. The area all together has mostly mom and pop shops, that makes it special. Property is kept nicely, and they were available whenever we needed something. They also lend with games, balls, books, etc. Sunrise view is great.

Very friendly and family run. The views of the lake and both the Green and Adirondack mountains are understated on their site, they are amazing.

The campsite owner Joey is a great help, easy going solid guy. The campground character is unique, very clean, and a super location to cycle from. Showers, flush toilets, swimming very nice. Early morning breezes, the grass parking added a twist from dirt concrete lots and made our stay a pleasure. A winner for a VT stay.
