“From the moment we drove up the hill, past the horses and the pond, and stepped into the reception at Edson Hill, we knew we had found a very special place. Our room on the main building was perfect for two, with an incredibly comfortable bed and sweet gas fireplace. We enjoyed three meals on property and felt so lucky to do so: two dinners with one at the bar and one on the outdoor patio, and breakfast. The setting is absolutely idylic - with the mountains, hills, fire pit, trees and flowers surrounding the property. Each common area has its own comfortable style and personality, and we enjoyed them all. The Edson Hill team is top notch. We will absolutely return and highly recommend.”

“Great get a way place. Skiing and snow shoeing on trails. Large indoor pool and fitness center but otherwise not much else to do when I was there. The guest houses are big and nicely decorated. The view is wonderful.”
“It was such a lovely experience staying at AWOL in Stowe. Breakfast is delicious, featuring their homemade bread and wonderful spread. The rooms were incredible aesthetic. The staff were also friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We are certainly looking forward to staying here in the future, and we'll be looking for other lark properties as well!”

“This is our second time staying here at the grey fox inn and we love it so much! From check in with Melissa at the front desk, to all of our housekeeping needs, the staff here clearly takes pride in the inn. Melissa was friendly, and welcoming, and very knowledgeable about recommendations for meals and things to do in town, (including the amazing onsite restaurant G Willikers!) The housekeeping team, specifically Zoie, Maya, and Nikki, kept our room spotless, from check in to daily upkeep, the three of them were rockstars! We recommend this place to everyone for an easy, clean, and accessible place to stay in Stowe!”

“Location was good - I enjoyed being a bit removed from the loudness of Stowe for our last night but still being close enough to drive to the Main Street. Room was extremely outdated. Bed spread and bathrooms felt dirty. The main lobby area was super cute and I would love to come back and play games down there. Loved the outdoor deck area with the pool and lake close by. Overall, a fine place when you will barely be in the room.”

“We were at the Inn for a quick 1 night stay. Any of the staff I interacted with were incredibly polite and helpful. Our room was a generous size, with an updated bathroom. The room had a small fridge. Coffee was available down in the lobby. Sitting \\ Common areas were all very nice.”
