“I drove my 16 year old vehicle from California to Vermont in 2020, and left it in storage for 2 years before I started driving it again in December 2022... needless to say, it's gone through some wear and tear. A few days ago, my vehicle started making a strange noise when the car started, and creaking noises when I steered... turns out that i had a cracked Serpentine belt (which could've left me stranded if it broke) and my power steering pump needed replaced. I'm new to the area, and chose A&D Automotive because I drive past it anytime I cross from Route 7 into Vergennes. I popped in without an appointment and was told to bring it back the next morning at 8am and they would fit my car in between appointments. Originally from California, I'm used to mechanics who lie, and charge for work that they never did. A&D Automotive is THE FURTHEST from all the bad experiences I've had elsewhere. I cannot say enough about the mechanics here who present not only a professional appearance, but the highest of professional care. They called me throughout the day to update me on what problems they found and only proceeded after receiving authorization to do so. I picked up my car a few hours later, and was thrilled to hear my car sound like the beast it once was, when it was brand new. To say "thank you" for their efficient and thorough care of my vehicle is the least I could do. But I'm writing this review so that if anyone else should find themselves in my predicament (new to area) will feel confident in entrusting the mechanics at A&D Automotive, with the care of their vehicle.”
