“I drove my 16 year old vehicle from California to Vermont in 2020, and left it in storage for 2 years before I started driving it again in December 2022... needless to say, it's gone through some wear and tear. A few days ago, my vehicle started making a strange noise when the car started, and creaking noises when I steered... turns out that i had a cracked Serpentine belt (which could've left me stranded if it broke) and my power steering pump needed replaced. I'm new to the area, and chose A&D Automotive because I drive past it anytime I cross from Route 7 into Vergennes. I popped in without an appointment and was told to bring it back the next morning at 8am and they would fit my car in between appointments. Originally from California, I'm used to mechanics who lie, and charge for work that they never did. A&D Automotive is THE FURTHEST from all the bad experiences I've had elsewhere. I cannot say enough about the mechanics here who present not only a professional appearance, but the highest of professional care. They called me throughout the day to update me on what problems they found and only proceeded after receiving authorization to do so. I picked up my car a few hours later, and was thrilled to hear my car sound like the beast it once was, when it was brand new. To say "thank you" for their efficient and thorough care of my vehicle is the least I could do. But I'm writing this review so that if anyone else should find themselves in my predicament (new to area) will feel confident in entrusting the mechanics at A&D Automotive, with the care of their vehicle.”
“Mechanic during a google search for mechanics in my area.The name made me chuckle and think 'Isn't that a contradiction in terms?'The reviews seems to indicate quite the opposite so I had to see for myself.David proved to be true to the chosen business name. I've brought my car in multiple times now for different reasons and each time he takes the time to explain what the problem is and how he's planning to fix it. “I called Andrew with a problem several other mechanics in the area couldn't diagnose, let alone fix. He immediately knew the problem and gave me a thorough plan as to how to address it as well as replace some other items that needed attention (since the engine had to be accessed anyway)....this saved me money on labor and gave me a real sense that Junction Auto cared about not just fixing the thing I asked, but actually caring about the car. Andrew helped me with replacing a side mirror, noticed I needed an inspection, and helped me get my car back when I didn't have a ride. Talk about an all around excellent experience with great value, great service, and satisfaction!”

It's common to have to wait and hour or 2 for a tow to arrive, but David came up immediately and got me back on the road with his wrecker truck. Steve was very helpful on the phone. Fair price and great guys.”

“I've been bringing my vehicles to Brian for many years and he has accomished what the major auto repair mechanics couldn't, fix my vehicle. He will actually trouble shoot a problem and find the issue before"attempting" to fix it" and then realize it wasn't what was wrong and charge you for the "wrong fix" and the right one. I wouldn't hesitate to have him work on my vehicles for any repairs. Reasonably priced, fair, honest and an excellent mechanic.”
“I woke up this morning to a flat tire. I have a BMW and normally have my car serviced and repaired at a foreign car repair shop in Burlington. A neighbor recommended Heffernans and they did not disappoint... In fact they went above and beyond for me today to get me back on the road and also safe for a drive to Boston this weekend. Super friendly, accommodating and honest. During the time I was waiting for my car to be done they appeared to be working in other last minute requests like mine and were passionate about helping their clients. Thank you.”
