“My wife and I were at Tucker Hill Inn for a family reunion. Susan provided remarkable hospitality that I have rarely experienced in the last 20 years. Personal attention! She and her team took great care to ensure that we were well cared for. Delicious food! Great hiking nearby.”

“We went there at the end of January, because we decided to elope. Steve, the innkeeper, was more than accommodating and just an all-around great guy. We called ahead for a 1pm check in, because we needed to get ready for our nuptials at town hall, for 2 pm, and he said that would be fine. The inn is very old, I believe Steve had said it was built in 1825. He gave us some history on the building and a tour of the place. The rooms have an antique look. We had a four post bed, which my only complaint is that it hits the walls when...well ya know... but nothing a pillow didn't solve. ? The bed was super comfortable, and there was a vanity that I could sit and put my makeup on in front of. The hot water heater was being worked on when we got there, but eventually everything was all straight, and we managed to have a hot shower. The great room was my favorite place. Steve made sure the wood stove was going and there was a comfy couch, some games, and a music area. My husband and I utilized the music area the whole time we were there. Steve encouraged us to play music and sing, which we did for other guests staying there. It was also a great room to meet other guests there and get to know them.Breakfast was continental style, with some home cooking added in. Steve made us heart-shaped waffles in honor of us being newlyweds and offered to make us expressos. We will definitely be back. I think the owner should give Steve a raise. He was the host, the chef, the front desk guy, and the keeper of the fire. ?”
