“My husband and I had a wonderful weekend at the Pitcher inn. It was negative temps so didn't ski as much as planned but had a wonderful relaxing time sitting by the fire at the Inn. Everyone was so welcoming and attentive and the food was fantastic!”

“Better in person! Photos don't do it justice. Clean and very well maintained. Innkeepers available and accommodating. We splurged and stayed in the Premium Honeymoon room. It was very large. Beautifully appointed. Cozy fireplace plus a room heater. Comfortable couch for watching TV. Our friends stayed in the Standard Honeymoon room. Not as large but also beautifully appointed. Common areas are comfortable and inviting to hang out. Location convenient to Waitsfield VT for restaurants and shopping. Easy drive to Stowe and/or Montpelier. We did day trips to both. Gotta love the family that owns and operates. They give it their all.”

“This is an adorable and cozy hotel. The beds are soft and comfortable to sleep in. Rooms are clean and a perfect size to keep your things in while you are out hiking and biking in the area. Shower was hot eith good pressure. There is complementary breakfast in the morning (local and organic yogurt/granola, waffles, pastries, fruit, even some gluten free options!). The coffee was delicious. It is no frills and the exact vibes for an earthy Vermont trip. Had a great time using the fire pit on the patio well into the night. Sipping coffee in the reading nook was the perfect way to start the day.

This isn't a huge or fancy corporate hotel. It is a place that is filled with love and Steve works hard to keep it so. Due to some health emergencies we missed check in time and wouldn't be arriving until midnight. Steve still made sure we could get into our rooms. He had breakfast ready early so we could get to the pre-wedding activites on time. He is polite, respectful and a diligent worker. As a solo traveling lady I was very comfortable staying here.

Walkable to local businesses and a Shaw's for easy shopping. 3 minute car ride (easy 15-20 min walk) to a local bike rental shop and downhill bike trails as well as a river to cool off in.”
