“We’ve passed by this restaurant a few times on our way to Hogback. The food looked really good, so figured we’d give it a shot. Let me tell you, J’s did not disappoint, whatsoever. We both ordered country fried steak with gravy. The sides were very generous portions, Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, coleslaw, and cornbread. The steak was incredible. Hands down some of the best fried steak I’ve ever had. This is the epitome of Southern BBQ style comfort food. I wish I could give this place 10 stars.”

“They have the best coffee around it's called Speeders and Earl's it is a eye opening very dark robust earthy flavor great with the morning paper coffee.... but they have many other great eye opening coffee to kick the day off right... so grab the paper and the morning meal and grab a good cup ojoe at this friendly Mobil and kick the day off with a blast even if the day starts at 1:00 in the afternoon...”

“I realize that my 5 star review may come as a shock because there are so many bad reviews for this Pharmacy. I assure you it has nothing to do with my generosity. If you look at my review of BMH’s Emergency Room, you’ll see that I have no problem giving a bad review when it is warranted. I just don’t see it here. I waited for 6 months after I moved here from Brattleboro before I wrote this, thinking I would see the problem at some point and my experiences there have just gotten better and better.I did have a problem with the phones once. The issue is that the phone in their Pharmacy wasn’t working and they didn’t know it. I called the front desk instead and told them that I was having trouble getting through to the Pharmacy and someone walked the phone back to the Pharmacy and we sorted it out.The Pharmacy cashiers and Pharmacists have always taken the time to explain things to me, have been patient with me when I’ve been scared and inpatient myself (I think I have COVID!), and have consistently given me good medical advice regarding over-the-counter medications and prescriptions.I’ve never had trouble getting a prescription filled. Maybe I’ve just been lucky? I don’t know but I’m grateful to have them here because it’d be a real pain to have to go all the way to Bratt or Bennington every time I need a prescription filled.”
