The Hermitage Inn is a breathtaking destination and a beautiful Vermont staple, offering a unique blend of a luxurious inn, fine dining, and a rejuvenating spa. It provides an idyllic retreat and an elegant wedding venue with a refined setting. From the moment guests walk in, they are made to feel like family or old friends by the lovely and attentive staff, who are incredibly accommodating and go above and beyond. The atmosphere is special and unparalleled. The food is consistently outstanding, delicious, and very, very good, with culinary masterpieces that are often exceptional. Dinner is always delicious, and the Thanksgiving buffet was executed perfectly. The extensive wine list is notable, and private wine tastings with the knowledgeable staff are a highlight. While service can occasionally be slow, the staff manages these situations well. The drinks at the bar are outstanding. Overall, the experience is incredible and memorable, making it hard not to become a tradition. Guests enjoy their meals whether in the main dining room, the fireplace lounge, or at the bar, and consistently look forward to returning.
We loved our weekend arc the Hermitage and added bonus was the amazing food. Loved that the chef checked in both nights to check in our experience. We'll be back!

The apps were amazing. The Tomahawk steak for sharing seemed a little small, especially the sides.
