“My boyfriend and I stopped in a few days ago, and we were welcomed by Josh. Josh was very friendly and highly knowledgeable about every product in the store as well as various menu highlights from Tuckerbox, which is the restaurant across the street that is under the same ownership as Little Istanbul (side note: it was delicious!). Josh generously offered us a sample of a spice called Shish Tavuk, providing us with a recipe for it, too! We will be sure to stop back in soon to see what's new and to try some more spices!”

“A great selection of some finished, but primarily unfinished solid wood furniture at prices similar to Ikea or the beat-up stuff sold at the local thrift. You can go right with this place if you desire quick, real wood storage solutions. The guy in the store, whose name I sadly cannot recall, was great to work with and helpful in placing our order and loading the furniture into our rented van. I will gladly do business with Allard's again.”

“My 11yo took a class with Mark yesterday. Great experience, great teacher! Mark was patient, encouraging, and paid close attention to safety in a friendly way. My son LOVED it and is so proud of the hooks and keychain he made to take home. Mark threw in the value of hard work, standing up for yourself, and a strong handshake for free! Definitely a highlight of our entire New England trip. Call to book a lesson even if the online booking shows he’s full. I called and he fit us in.”

“This is a charming little shop with a fabulous selection of gifts. I was looking for a Christmas ornament for myself to reflect my visit to New Hampshire, and they have a fantastic variety. Anything you could hope to find for a gift they have here and it's good quality. Candles, books, socks, blankets, pillows, soaps, lotions, nicknacks, decorations, seriously, it's all here. I wish I had more time to spend the day I was there. I could have spent hours. The staff was helpful and friendly.”

“I have been with them since 2017. They are very nice and quick in responding to all information you need or in need of assistance. Due to being with them for years if I am late on making my payment they attend to wave my late fee. I also seem to lose the mailing address. But over all its amazing company”

“This is a quintessential Joann Fabric with a big selection of fabrics that you expect to see at Joann's. Cottons, blends, satins, tulles, interfacing, etc. I don't expect to buy couture fabrics here but for all the above, they have lots of choices.I also can count on them for threads for sewing clothes, zippers, buttons, cake decorations items galore, crafting books, and many great craft items for my grandchildren. Coupons galore add up to great savings. I find most of the staff helpful and friendly. I'm glad we have them here locally!”

“I recently purchased an Andrew Pearce bowl that I have been eyeing for at least a year. It was worth the wait and I wish I bought it sooner. The natural beauty and thoughtful design is a gorgeous compliment to my modern kitchen.”

“Melissa was literally the most helpful person I've ever met on internet. In 24 hours we pulled together a gift from overseas (I live in Italy) to NH .. and she delivered it! Beautiful and wide selection. Highly recommend.”

“LOVE THIS PLACE! Superb selection, not too big/overwhelming/stuffed to the brim, but tons of interesting pieces to look at. Every item feels carefully chosen and have tags that provided additional context (material, time period, etc.). Prices felt very reasonable compared to similar antique/curated stores in the area -- with a wide range, saw everything from 50 cents to over 2k. Staff person working was friendly. Make sure to go upstairs!”

“Iconic Vermont, hand blown glassware. Simon Pearce offers many beautiful pieces, covering the traditional to contemporary spectrum. The Hanover, NH shop is quaint, the staff are friendly, and NO SALES TAX in New Hampshire.”

“Lost Treasure!! TRUST ME ON THIS!! If you LOVE TEXTILES, the finest linen, pride yourself on setting magnificent tables or preparing the most luxurious guest suite or primary bedroom, enjoy making your home a treasure trove of unique and beautiful exotic objects-THIS IS A NO MISS PLACE TO SHOP!! Beautifully merchandised.Think of these purchases as investments in your lifestyle and good designs for living-! Linen napkins I bought 13 years ago remain my pride and joy, whether I iron and size them for a higher scale dinner party presentation or wash and fold and stuff in a bucket for summer living at beach house, they look amazing.I enjoy “seeing what’s new” a few times a year when I make the journey from my state to VT and love to add to my collection of truly breathtaking fine linens and napkins. They are simply incomparable. Noel is THE most gracious representative and embodies this chic and ageless lifestyle quality. It’s almost another reason for stopping by. On my last visit a few weeks ago (Sept 2023) they offered some amazing tribal art, statuary and master glass from a premiere Vt glass artist whose work and colors I’ve admired for years. They also will custom make curtains and such but the sale items like seasonal throws or end of line patterns are tremendous values to be grabbed!!The duvet covers and bedding is almost maddening because you want it all!!If you’re an interior designer or just love creating a luxe look home- this is the place for you! You have my permission to go overboard, forget a budget and indulge, because today or years from now you’ll say- these are the finest and most beautiful things I own!One of my top 10 shopping experiences..”
