“Ethanol-free gas for snowblowers and backup generators. Very plesant staff, even when I arrive 10 minutes before closing. Google lists closing time as 7PM, but hours have been reduced to 6PM.”

“On MLK weekend my partner and I were driving home from Mt. Snow when we heard loud rumbling underneath the right side of our car. The noise was so loud that we were afraid to keep driving. We stopped on the side of the road to get roadside assistance, and started calling auto shops nearby to see if they could check out our car. All shops were either closed or had a two week backup on cars to actually look at our vehicle. I saw First Stop Convenience on the map and saw a review that said the people working there were incredibly helpful so I called to see if they might be able to help.The owner of the shop, Jessica, said she couldn’t guarantee that they could help but if we could make it to them they would try their best. When we got to the shop, her son, Daniel, did a full diagnostic on our car, and noticed that it was missing three lug nuts on the right wheel. He jacked our car and noticed that the wheel was almost fully off the car! Daniel went home to take lug nuts off his own car and installed them on ours, which ended up fixing our problem completely.Daniel and Jessica went above and beyond to help out a few strangers and saved us from getting stranded in the middle of Vermont - they may have even saved our lives! We are incredibly grateful for their kindness and recommend others to support their small business.”
