I am glad to see the store still exists but nostalgic memories makes me sad that so much is changed. I am happy though if it continues to serve the needs of the town and those that choose to visit the beauty spot of Vermont

I'm sorry if this is brutal, and I hate giving this place a bad review because it's my hometown general store, but the new owners need to learn how to make a pizza. The beloved "Fire Tower Pizza" is no longer, and unfortunately this almost $30 pizza was easily the worst pizza we have ever had. Slicing up this thin oily disc was like cutting though leather. And is there a pepperoni shortage? I really hope they're working on their pizza because it's a shame this small towns once amazing pizza is now this price gouging mess. I'd grab some local beer from here, maybe some local eggs or supplies for a picnic, but the pizza... never again, or at least until they figure out how to make them.

Everything is too expensive, too hipster. Nothing for sale here even resembles what you would expect to find at a "general store" New ownership basically ruined a legendary place.

Absolutely phenomenal general store! Definitely worth stopping in and looking around. The pizza they have there is also phenomenal
