I had the Village Butcher cater a lunch for 20 and it was fantastic. The mac and cheese was incredible and very popular. The pulled pork was so tender and delicious. The chicken skewers were great. We had green salad, fruit salad, slaw, cornbread, and the most delicious rolls. It was a great spread that my guests thoroughly enjoyed. Will order again for sure!

Limited offerings on their sandwich counter. The sandwiches need more, I would recommend a sauce. The counter meat does not fulfill.

I bought their frozen beef bourguignon pie today. WOW!!! So much flavor! This is a killer, quick, mid-week meal. I ❤️’d it.

This review is only for the sandwich part of the shop. The butcher might be fine, can't speak on it. The sandwiches are severely under seasoned to the point where they tasted like nothing. They had the texture of meat, but no flavor. This was the same for the roast beef and the lunch special with the sausage and peppers. It was really disappointing. They were certainly edible and not bad, but very much flavorless. Kind of weird!

Stopped in hoping to find something simple to cook for dinner (staying in Ludlow, VT) and it did not disappoint! We got immediate service and again from multiple people working there even though they were clearly busy with sandwich orders. Once they found we were chicken farmers ourselves (after offering several things to us in the back) they were great at steering us in the right direction.
we ended up with absolutely excellent
marinated steak tips and roasted veggies which perfect even after re-heating, as well as baguette they warmed up for us. So glad we stopped in! Thanks guys!

Their Italian grinder was an oily mess and not very good. They should order from C&S in White River to see what an Italian grinder ought to be.

I brought home smoked brisket sandwiches with BBQ sauce and dill pickles for lunch today. They were outstanding, mouthwateringly delicious, with a generous amount of brisket. Well worth the price. I would add a photo but the sandwiches were eaten before I thought of taking a picture.

Fantastic steaks and knowledgeable and helpful staff. They even salted the steaks for us to perfection so they'd be ready to go right on the grill when we got home.

It's decorated a bit like Rose Apothecary (Schitt's Creek TV show) and cute. I've not gotten meat here but I did get a muffin and a chicken pot pie. Both were delicious! I highly recommend splurging ($25.99) and buying one of their frozen pot pies. They are delectable! We ate it before I could take a picture of it. I'll try again next time! 😁

Great selection of deli favorites. Sandwich bar is a great choice for something on the go. Staff was beyond helpful. We were window shopping, after hours, and an employee opened the locked front door and offered to help us without hesitation. Highly recommended. Thanks Village Butcher Shop!!

I did not enjoy my chicken salad sandwich. The chicken was gray in color and didn't have a nice taste. Everything here is overpriced.

Cute, wine, cheese and butcher shop! And they have excellent fresh deli sandwiches! Also try their other fresh items! It gets busy and the line is long, but it was worth it! Staff is friendly and patient!
