“We’ve been part of the East Coast Cheer and Tumble family for 9 years, and I truly can’t say enough good things about this gym.

My daughter has grown so much—not just in her cheer skills, but in her confidence, discipline, and love for the sport. The coaches are incredibly knowledgeable and genuinely passionate about what they do. You can tell they truly care about each athlete they work with, and that kind of dedication makes all the difference.

My daughter absolutely loves being part of this program, and as a parent, there’s nothing better than watching her thrive in a place where she feels challenged, supported, and valued.

If you’re looking for a cheer program in the Abingdon area, I highly recommend East Coast Cheer and Tumble. It has been such a blessing to our family over the years.”

“GREAT ENERGY!I moved back to Abingdon area 2+ years ago and sought a gym. I chose Body By Lee. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly and VERY helpful. In addition, this gym has an ample Women’s Area. Furthermore, my training sessions have proven to be especially beneficial. So glad I found this gym!!”

“For clarity and accuracy, I am addressing this once.

I am not affiliated with the ownership or management of the gym. I am a long-time, paying member and have been part of this gym community for over a decade. The owners and managers take pride in this facility, actively look after it, and care deeply about their members and the environment they work to maintain.

The complaint I submitted was about repeated behavior, not about a person, identity, background, or training style. Specifically, it involved disturbing, excessive grunting sounds coming from this individual that were loud enough to be clearly heard through noise-canceling headphones in a shared workout space.

I did not report the first occurrence. I gave the benefit of the doubt and continued my workouts. After being in the gym at least three additional times, and observing that the volume and frequency increased rather than decreased, I chose to report it. This decision was based on observable, repeated conduct, not opinion, exaggeration, or personal animosity.

I have spent many years training and coaching in gyms alongside people of all backgrounds and intensity levels. I value inclusive spaces that welcome everyone. At the same time, shared facilities require reasonable consideration for others. This was a good-faith report made through the gym’s established process. Any attempt to mischaracterize it is inaccurate!”
