“The framing here is extraordinary. Paul, the owner, knows exactly how to highlight the work of art in an enclosure that is elegant and is perfectly matched to the object it holds. Last week, he framed a delicate painting on paper for me. It's a painting of the Indian spiritual master Meher Baba by the Swiss artist Helen Dahm, painted in India in 1938. I had planned to use an ivory mat, but Paul showed me that it would call to much attention to itself, and that a black mat with a thin gold bezel would better focus the eye on the image itself. The wooden frame is perfect. The finished product is more beautiful than I could have imagined. Paul is an artist in how he frames art.”
“Made in ALX hosted an 11 year old birthday party for my daughter and 13 friends. It was perfect. The owner worked seamlessly in advance to plan and coordinate with me - responding quickly without delay. She was incredibly easy to work with. They had a large table set up and decorated with about a million options of beads and charms. The girls created necklaces/bracelets and 2 hours was the perfect amount of time. The jewelry instructor was patient, working well with 13 girls - providing clear instruction and guidance. I would not hesitate to have another birthday party (or any kind of party!) with Made in ALX. Thank you for such a great experience!!”
“Found it recently! It's a very nice place to walk around and browse. The place has a lot to offer, and it's a good idea to scan the collection. I'd also recommend to have a vague idea of what you're looking for before stepping in if you're looking to buy. The guy working there is very pleasant, and I'd come by again!”

“Found this place randomly and ended up spending hours here. There are so many different types of art all going on at the same time. If we had the money, we would have bought so many things here. Many pieces were very inspirational.
Plus it's dog friendly.”
