Love this shop and the people there. So friendly and helpful. I've been there to shop and for an incredible workshop. So looking forward to going again- it's well worth the 2 hour drive from Richmond.

I've taken several fiber art classes at Artistic Artifacts and highly recommend them for not just the course content, but the creative atmosphere and knowledgeable staff. Highly recommend!

Went for a special event that Scott Fortunoff, President of Jaftex, was the guest speaker. Hadn't been to the shop in over a year and it was bigger and better. Friendly staff

Just got pretty woman’d. They are too “high end” for basic fabric needs. Go elsewhere

Nice fabric selection but very pricey!!! They price by the half yard, so it's deceptive. The print panels are way overpriced...I paid 1/4 the price for original batiks at another store.

Judy has a dream of a shop with interesting art supplies. They offer classes on how to use the supplies. AA is a Bernina dealer and they also offer great classes to use the machines. All that and wonderful fabric too!

This shop is a great addition to our region’s offerings for sewing-project-based people. It is a place full of wonderful materials from all over the world, supporting both traditional and non-traditional arts. You have to see it to believe it. Friendly and knowledgeable staff.

This is an amazing store! It’s about 45 minutes from my house and that is probably for the best! They have a really balanced selection of fabrics ranging from batiks to solids but also plenty of blenders and fun colorful prints. From the description I was expecting lots of wild eccentric fabrics (which were there) but was happy to find a huge variety of other fabrics. The little corners of different textures and add ons for mixed media and fiber arts were so fun to comb through. The variety of beads and ribbons and ephemera were so wonderfully curated that there really is something for everyone.I was also happy to see a corner dedicated to gelli printing and paints, they really cover it all here. Judy was really friendly and her niece who cut my fabric was also very personable, like everyone else in the shop. I felt very welcome and will definitely keep shopping from Artistic Artifacts!
