Carlyle Mill Apartments offers a charming, unique, and welcoming residential experience in Old Town Alexandria with a design that evokes an old mill setting. The complex is fairly old with expected wear and tear, but the apartments themselves are nice, extremely spacious, and reasonably priced. It is a pet-friendly and smoke-free community within walking distance of the metro, King Street, tons of restaurants, shopping, and multiple fitness centers. The staff are amazing, incredibly helpful, pleasant, kind, well-organized, and knowledgeable. They are ready and willing to help with any needs, and interactions with them are a big reason residents choose the community. The maintenance staff are also awesome, responsive, and on time, addressing service requests promptly and without issue. Some residents note that the fire alarm goes off frequently. Overall, however, it is considered a solid, quiet, and very walkable place to live, providing an excellent experience with a great location.
Been here for 3 ish years, the fire alarm going off every month or week should lower the rent. I pay to much for that bs going off constantly for nothing.

The apartments are nice and the staff are amazing!!! Zahra is incredibly helpful and pleasant. Anytime we need anything, she is ready and willing to help!!! Love this place!

Sasha is one of the leading agent, she is very helpful and kind. Yaya is another leading agent, she is well organized and knowledgeable. The maintenance staff are awesome! They are there on time and fix the problem without no issues. Loving Carlyle Mills.
