Eugene Simpson Stadium Park is a lively area with several baseball and soccer fields, a basketball court, and a recently renovated dog park. It features a great playground, a small picnic area, and clean restrooms. The park is dog-friendly and offers ample parking, though it can be busy on weekends. Visitors enjoy playing pickleball on well-maintained courts and exploring open fields where kids can run and play. Multiple picnic tables and climbing structures add to the park’s family-friendly atmosphere.
I’ve been enjoying my coffee near Simpson Dog Park off Monroe Avenue for years, and I truly appreciate the work that has been done at Simpson Park. It already looks much improved and more enjoyable, and I look forward to seeing and experiencing the final outcome. Keep up the great work.
