You can watch the water wheel turn the mighty gears as we grind Washington's grain at the mill and visit Washington's distillery where we make his whiskey today. The grist mill and distillery are authentic reproductions of the original structures. The mill produces corn meal for sale, though the flour is not for sale. The distillery only produces liquor during the off season due to safety. That liquor is also for sale on site and at the main gift store.

I went there on a Saturday morning, while waiting for my Pope-Leighey house tour which is close by. The mill was great and the tour guides were very friendly and open to questions. They sell corn products they grind on site.
