King Street Cats is a unique no-kill, free-roaming cat orphanage and rescue organization run solely by volunteers and funded by private donations. It is described as a fantastic place with the "cat-friendliest cats in town," where every animal is loved. The staff and volunteers are incredibly conscientious and committed to the cats, ensuring a positive transition. Adopters report great experiences, with cats receiving complete medical care, full blood work, vaccines, and complete documents. The organization provides spare food and favorite toys for adopted cats and remains available for questions. While some note the volunteers are firm in implementing procedures, adopters highly recommend King Street Cats for its care and successful adoptions of beautiful, medically sound cats.
Wonderful, truly altruistic organization that saves cats lives. I adopted my 2 loving cats from them and they’ve brought me such joy.

As a prior volunteer, donor, and currently adopted by a KSC Alum, this is a great place to get a cat or kitten (or two). The application is serious and they do follow-up because they want every cat to get a FOREVER home. If you've gotten offended by the questions or the follow-up, that is a reflection of you, not them.
