The Lowe's store itself is good, but trying to get a hold of their customer service is extremely difficult. I spent a week trying to confirm a delivery, going back and forth, with corporate and the store. In the end, I went in, got a hold of a manager who helped me solve the logistical issue.

One thing I absolutely hate is going into a store and the employees not being able to assist. I came in on a Thursday morning. The item was in stock online but I could not find it based on the info and given location online. No one knew where I could find a small tool box!! I went out of my way to come to this location before work and left beyond disappointed.

I was looking to have my kitchen remodeled and did a ton of research about cabinets, countertops, etc. After much consideration, I decided to go with Lowe's. Let's just say it was a big mistake. I was approved for the credit card, but this location could not process the transaction due to some odd reason. Upon installation, we realized that the cabinet door pulls would not work, so we tried to return them - could not despite their taking more than a couple of months to deliver and install the cabinets, I could not return the items that I did not need. As a whole, I would gladly deal with the online folks, but the associates at this store are beyond unhelpful and act like they are doing you a favor. I will never come back to this location, and maybe Lowe's ever again.

Extremely disappointed with an associate, therefore with Lowe’s as well. Cathy would not listen to my question let alone answer it. The question was where to find microwaves on the shelf in boxes, opposed to the displays. Cathy learned it wasn’t in her section and was done listening. The epitome of “that’s not my job”. Extremely disappointed! An event such as this occurred at Home Depot, which is why I’m shopping at Lowe’s…now…not sure. On top of that, the military discount only applies to certain items, unlike my military service which was for all Americans. ?

The past few years have been tough on a lot of businesses, especially Home Improvement stores. Supply chain issues of slow or no shipments of inventory, and Inflation has created a lot of frustrated customers and employees. Things have gotten better on the supply chain side. My hope is to be more positive and patient in these times.I can find whatever I’m looking for when shopping here.

Inconsistent customer service, lazy employees who can't even answer a simple question when asked, and they never ever EVER answer the phone. And yeah.... blah, blah, blah.... they'll just respond to this review with the "call the 800 number." How about instead of making us do even more to complain about you even more, you solve the problem? Get people answering the phone? Answer questions correctly when people call, act like you want to help, and be professional as well.

Don’t go to Lowe for doors or windows installation.our order paid in full 3 months ago is more than 1 month late and the follow up is inexistant. Since they have the money, they obviously don’t care about delivering on time.

I ordered a sliding glass patio door installation (after Home Depot was a no-show to give me an estimate). The installation seemed to go fine. The contractor left without verifying that the key lock worked, so I tried to use the keys for the lock. But it is so tight that the keys are about to break off. I called the installer the next day, who told me to call Lowes' project management. Since then it has been impossible to get them to return to install a new lock set. Lowes received the lock-set from their supplier (why an off-the-shelf item would take three weeks or so to obtain is also a problem). But they got it, called me and left a voice mail to call to schedule its installation. I did call, a number of times in fact, but they never call back. I either get more promises or their voicemail. Lowes' customer service is of no service, since they say they will contact the installer, but they do not. I even disputed my credit card charge, and had it removed from my account. Amex (my card) contacted Lowes whose customer service contacted me with another promise of service. But no service was forthcoming, of course. So I have a door I cannot lock, or at least get back in if I lock it from one side and want to return from the other (which would be a normal pattern for our family). Lowes was paid. The installer was paid. But the job was not completed so that the door will function properly. They just refuse to contact me and set up when to come and do it right. If this is how they do business, and it does seem like it is from other reviews as well, I would not recommend them for anything at all. Once they have the money, they think they are done.

I’ve been trying to get ahold of the store in Alexandria but no one answers the phone. Today it rang for over 16 minutes before someone picked it up and then hung it up. Monday it was almost 20 min and Sunday it was 20 mins. I need to reschedule $6000 worth of appliances, the website won’t let me and the store won’t pickup. I’m hugely frustrated! WTH?

Dreadful customer service. I have been chasing the manager to assist with a part replacement, one visit to the store and two phonecalls later and they have never returned my call. Very disappointing and will never use Lowes again.

Very poor service. I wanted help with some flooring. Had an assistant paged. But he helped others just arriving first, w/o even asking who was there 1st. So I left and won't be back.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I suffer from lacktoast intolerance and I had an episode and the nearest avalable restroom was a "display unit" and after I had released my bowels in the toliet it wouldn't flush, so I then used the sink and it still didn't work. I was then forcefully removed and assaulted by security and have been "permanently banned" from the establishment #downwithlowes2020

What can I say, this Lowe's location is a pile of garbage. I've placed two home delivery orders with them in the last 2 weeks. The first was a small order with a patio table and some cushions. A few hours after I placed my order, I received an email saying my order had been delivered, with a photo of my items at someone else's house! I spent over an hour calling the store, with no answer on any line. I ended up walking around my neighborhood until I found the items one street over, and ended up carrying everything back to my house. Once I got home, I noticed that Lowe's had stacked some bags of concrete on the cushions, and they were crushed and had concrete powder all over them. I tried calling the store again with no response, so I ended up washing everything to clean it up. This week I thought I would give them another try since the local competitor did not have everything I needed in stock. So I ordered over $1200 in lumber and building supplies to build a shed, and selected home delivery and proceeded to place the order with their $99 delivery fee. A few hours later, I receive an email saying some of my items were cancelled in the order. It turns out that every item was cancelled, saying they were out of stock. I had over 90 items in the order, including basic lumber (2x4s and plywood), so I find it incredibly hard to believe everything was out of stock. This is just another dishonest business, and should be avoided.

I’ve been calling and calling this store for assistance with an installation order to no avail. The store is saying one thing, and the contractor/installer is saying another. Inconsistent quotes and there is literally no one answering the phones - with the exception of the three times that someone picked up and hung up immediately. I’ve tried calling the department directly as well as customer service, and I’ve yet to speak with anyone. This is also not the first time that I’ve experienced poor customer service from this location. Please do not be fooled by the 3.6- star rating. I literally have a quote for thousands just sitting because I can’t get any help. Avoid if you can.

The fact that it's painstaking to get any assistance just makes you want to go elsewhere. Just a reminder folks, this is what corporate retail looks like, and it's only going to get worse.
