“KinderCare has taken great care of our family. Our son loves to be there and always smiles when we arrive and pick him up. The teachers are kind, warm, and welcoming and it’s evident how much they’ve taught him through being in their class. We love that they provide updates on him throughout the day—and get him involved in engaging activities while he’s there.”
“Big thank you to Officer Kenneth Diaz. He worked on 9 Jan 2024 at Virginia Hospital ER at 11pm. Not only did he provide great security to the staff and patients. He even handed out warm blankets to patients. And at the end of my mom's visit, he wheeled outour car. car.He truly went above and beyond! Thank you, Officer Diaz!”

“We had a great experience at St Gabrielle’s. Our first child attended the school for two years. They had a good curriculum, and our child matured a great deal with an unbeatable tuition rate too. We will miss the staff and school.”
“My experience with Childtime of Alexandria has been really positive. The staff are friendly and you can tell they genuinely care about the kids. The daycare stays clean and organized, and the teachers do a good job keeping parents updated throughout the day. The children always seem engaged in activities and comfortable around the staff. Overall, it feels like a safe and supportive environment for kids to learn and grow. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND”

“The KinderCare on Telegraph Road is exceptional!
My husband and I are glad we trusted our 2-year-old son with them. My son really thrived when he was at KinderCare. The staff is top tier! The teachers are loving, attentive to the children needs, caring, understanding and passionate. The Telegraph Road KinderCare is more than a daycare; they become family and there is a sense of community here.”
“My sona has attended the Eisenhower East kindercare since he was 3 years of age, he is now 5 going on 6. I am very proud and confident to say that he is more then prepared for Kindergarten in the fall. This is due to the structured programming and curriculum that they have there. I recommend this center to anyone who is looking for quality child care. 2”

“Our now almost 3-year old son has been going to NES for the last 8 months and has absolutely thrived at this school. The teachers he gets to spend time with everyday are wonderful in every way and are so kind and helpful to both he and us as parents. The activities and curriculum they provide have helped him grow in so many ways and it’s just been awesome to see how excited he is every morning to go see Ms. Wallace, Ms. Jasmine, and Ms. Kayla. I can’t recommend this school enough for anyone considering Montessori for their child. It’s just wonderful.”

“It was our son’s last day at Kindercare Franconia Road and to say it was an emotional day is an understatement. My son started at this center 2.5 years ago at only 3 months old. Like every first time mom, I was anxious about leaving my baby with strangers but that was short-lived. The infant teachers, Ms Rozita and Ms Aaliyah, were wonderful, caring, and invested in my son even at such a young age. For example, I remember walking in one day to find Ms Rozita doing a sensory session with feathers with the babies and Ms Aaliyah seemed to always be on the ground working with the infants during tummy time.
When my son was starting to walk, he transitioned to Infant B in Ms Carmen’s room where he learned to be more stable, and learned to eat and nap independently. Ms Carmen always went out of her way to give us an update on his progress for things like learning to eat with utensils, drinking out of an open cup, sign language, first words, etc.
At 18 months, he moved into the Two’s classroom with Ms Mimi where his development accelerated: he learned to talk, play with friends, dance, color, sing, and so much more! Ms Mimi gave our son so much love and attention, especially as he started to navigate the first big emotions as a two year-old. Every morning he would ask to go to school to “see Ms Mimi”. As a working mother, it helps to know your child is so cared for that they wake up excited to go to school to see their teacher.
During our final few months at the school, our son moved up to Ms Tiya’s and Ms Linda’s classroom where he established friendships, learned the foundations of potty training, the ABC’s, counting to 20 in English and Spanish, reading independently, imaginative play, etc. Ms Linda and Ms Tiya have played a huge role in helping our son develop into a sweet and thoughtful little boy.
Lastly, the center had quite a bit of turn over with directors over our tenure but there was very little impact to our son’s learning environment due to the consistency with the teachers and Ms Denise stepping up as assistant Director. More recently, Ms Heidy joined as the director and she has made an immediate impact to how the center was being run day to day. She made improvements and created efficiencies that were desperately needed.
Unfortunately, our military station has come to an end and we are moving to a different state so we had to say our goodbyes to everyone at Kindercare Franconia Road. Thank you to all the teachers who have made an impact to our son’s early childhood development. We will sorely miss you!
Love,
The Bangos Family”
“We had an amazing experience with kiddie academy, specifically for our son’s time in the Anglefish room from 3-6 months. The caregivers were communicative, loving, and engaged. Iris is particularly amazing always taking time to talk to us and tell us about our son’s day. She is truly part of what made our experience so positive. The other teachers Brenda, Mercedes, and Ruth are also amazing. Drop off is so much easier knowing your kid is in caring hands. Our experience with kiddie academy has been amazing because of these ladies.”
“THE BEST SCHOOL IN THE WORLD!!!! Our daughter is thriving at FHP and I am forever grateful we found this incredible community. Best teachers, curriculum, and families you could ever ask for.”

“Happy Home is an all-around excellent private pre-school experience in a warm and nurturing environment with people who truly care. We were fortunate that there was a spot available mid-year for our daughter after a terrible first school experience at a local home-based Montessori pre-school. We weren’t specifically looking for a Christian school, but it was such a blessing that Happy Home popped up in our search. After an exhaustive search, we were at the point of resigning ourselves to having our daughter be back at home vs. getting to be with other kids her age in pre-school. Our daughter attended Happy Home for 1.5 years and graduated in June 2024, two months before she turned 5. By the time she graduated, she knew how to write her name, say and write words, do beginner math, and start to read. Upon entering kindergarten, she is already well ahead of the public school kindergarten curriculum. Aside from the academic excellence, Happy Home offered her an opportunity to learn about different cultures and build even better communication and social skills in a diverse community of people. I commend Dr. Tillman and all of the teachers on continuously doing such a wonderful job!”

“We joined Bright Horizons when our child was 6 months old, and truthfully we only left because we needed to be closer to family out of state. Otherwise, we would’ve stayed here for as long as possible! Everyone at Bright Horizons is so nice and welcoming. We especially loved Ms. Sam and Ms. Jina, who have become like family to us and to our child. These two are the best! We love this center so much and truly will come back with our kiddo to visit!”

“Hopkins House McNeil has been a true blessing to our family.
My son, Edmund, was diagnosed with autism at the age of two. My husband and I made the decision to enroll him at Hopkins House to help develop his speech and social skills. Looking back, it was one of the best decisions we have ever made.
The teachers never gave up on him. They showed endless patience, love, and dedication every single day. Some of them even learned words and songs in our local language so they could comfort him and sing him to sleep during nap time. That level of care touched our hearts more than words can express.
When it came to potty training, they were absolutely amazing. They invested their time, energy, and compassion into helping Edmund succeed. They treated him as if he were their own child, always encouraging him and celebrating every milestone along the way.
Today, Edmund is thriving. He is talking, growing in confidence, and preparing to enter second grade. None of this would have been possible without the incredible support, commitment, and belief that the teachers at McNeil showed him from the very beginning.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to all the teachers and staff at Hopkins House in Alexandria. Your kindness, dedication, and unwavering support have made a lasting impact on our son’s life and on our family. We will always be grateful.”

“We have three children, the first two went to a different neighborhood daycare and our youngest to this one. This daycare is wonderful and avoided many pitfalls we experienced with the other. These people are reliable which is an absolute necessity for childcare. They try to stay open on inclement weather days when parents must work regardless. They're very accommodating and although all childcare is expensive, relatively affordable. They make the most of what they have. Great summer camp and periodic activities like a Magician, animal handler, and all sorts of fun. Nice big playground. Clean interior. Most importantly, our daughter LOVED Ms. Sharon. When it came time to join her brothers at their school, she said she was ready but would miss Ms. Sharon as they loved each other so much. Also I place high premium on administration quality and Jenny is great. Very responsive, professional yet personable.
Highly recommend this daycare.”

“Our KinderCare at Buckman Rd has been nothing short of a wonderful experience for our family. Our daughter started at 5 months after my maternity leave ended & Ms. Tarsha along with Ms. Meryll have been there every step of the way to assist from her enrollment to sharing her developmental milestones with us. We’re so grateful for her infant teachers Ms. E & Ms. Bree who have made our new routine very comfortable and leave our girl with a smile everyday! The staff all around is wonderful and are very friendly to both us and our baby making it that much easier to be away at work and still have a peace of mind that she’s in great hands. This is our first child so it truly helps feeling like we have a team and our daughter gets to grow with the other babies, it’s a win-win experience! Thanks so much for all you all do!!!”
“Daystar Children’s Center is the best place you can enroll your kiddos in. Growing up here I had so many amazing teachers and memories that have stuck with me even now as an adult! The environment is like a warm hug, everyone is welcoming and has the passion to teach/care for students. Meals are delicious, projects are adorable, the teachers make accustoms for any child and how they can unlock their true potential in the classroom. Truly every child makes unforgettable friends! The events like Halloween,Christmas, Summer camp and more are truly light up the children’s faces. The staff truly deserve all the love they get from their students and parents.? 100/10”
“My daughter (7 y) started violin and piano at Del Ray School of Music in Fall 2021. Less than a year, in May 2022 she had her first violin performance at her elementary school. She is happy, confident; her dad and I are so proud of her. All this, thanks to the excellent work of her music teacher Steve Attix. I usually do not take time to give reviews but now I am so happy of my daughter's joy, self confidence and discipline, that I've decided to make it publick for parents looking for a good school of music for their children like I was once before the great experience with Del Ray School of music. Give it a try, see for yourself!”
