“I loved bright start when we lived there. I was really upset when the owner sold.I absolutely love Bright Start. I have zero complaints, they are worth every penny. My daughter lights up when she sees her teachers, and that is such a great feeling. She's in the infant room and has come so far developmentally in the few months that she's been there. I love the app updates with pictures and videos. I love the live video stream. I love that they take them outside everyday when the weather is nice. Everyone is so kind and welcoming. The staff are always smiling genuinely, and they love the kids as much as the kids love them. Bright Start is everything you want in a daycare!”

“My daughter (7 y) started violin and piano at Del Ray School of Music in Fall 2021. Less than a year, in May 2022 she had her first violin performance at her elementary school. She is happy, confident; her dad and I are so proud of her. All this, thanks to the excellent work of her music teacher Steve Attix. I usually do not take time to give reviews but now I am so happy of my daughter's joy, self confidence and discipline, that I've decided to make it publick for parents looking for a good school of music for their children like I was once before the great experience with Del Ray School of music. “Absolutely the best school!! My son has been going for over a year and my youngest started at 6 weeks. I was completely lost when she had to go back especially during a pandemic but Ms. Casey and Ms. Maalika were awesome. I received multiple pictures from both class each day which gave me tremendous comfort. My daughter would jump into their arms every morning for drop off and just smile during pickup, which made me feel even better. The infants teachers are the best they make sure the kids are well taken care of and even sent me a video of my daughters first steps?. My preschoolers classroom never failed to amaze me with all the new things they were learning. Some of which my 4 year old corrected me on lol. I whole heartedly love this school and most importantly the family we have made. Choosing this place was nothing short of amazing.”

“I highly recommend Great Beginnings if you live in the Alexandria area. The staff is very friendly and communicative. Our daughter has been in the infant classroom since she was 10 weeks old. They have shown her nothing but love and attention. This was something that was super important to us with us both working full time. They offer a flexible 3,4, or 5 day schedule which was great for us! We are very thankful for Ms.Nancy in particular because she always informs us of how are daughter is doing and is always so happy to see her at drop off. We have no doubt that our daughter is in great hands. We absolutely love this center and wish we were staying in the area!!”

“Both our daughters, now in elementary school, were cared for at Saint Gabriel's, and we loved it. Wonderful teachers and staff. Clean facility, great outdoor space. Healthy, safe, nurturing and loving environment for children. Age appropriate religious teachings. Just a perfect transition from home to daycare before kindergarten. And affordable!”

“I have a daughter whom completed 1th grade in Parklawn elementary and will go to 2nd grade in September 2016. As parents we have always been very happy with the school, the school is friendly and has a real community feel. The teachers are supportive and I feel my daughter is treated as individuals. Our daughter had no problem settling into school life, and the teachers and teaching assistants could not have done more to make it as easy as possible for our daughter. Our daughter love the school, they are challenged academically, but have fun learning. There are extra clubs every week, and my daughter has enjoyed taking part in lots of the sporting activities.Special thanks to her 1th grade teacher Mrs. Katie Jones for being such a wonderful, kind, patient and supportive teacher during the school year of 2015-2016.”

“We had an amazing experience with kiddie academy, specifically for our son’s time in the Anglefish room from 3-6 months. The caregivers were communicative, loving, and engaged. Iris is particularly amazing always taking time to talk to us and tell us about our son’s day. She is truly part of what made our experience so positive. The other teachers Brenda, Mercedes, and Ruth are also amazing. Drop off is so much easier knowing your kid is in caring hands. Our experience with kiddie academy has been amazing because of these ladies.”

“I can't say enough good things about Westminster Weekday Preschool. My daughter attended last year and is registered for next year too, and I am an elementary teacher myself. The teachers and administration are so caring and patient, and they helped my daughter when she had a difficult time adjusting. She loves her teachers and her friends. The rates are very reasonable, especially considering the amount of activities and programming WWP offers. The Conscious Discipline approach is a respectful way of teaching children expectations and boundaries while empathizing with their feelings and teaching them to advocate for themselves. We are lucky to be part of the WWP community!”

“I am not one to write reviews but I wanted to share our experience at Telegraph Road Kindercare in hopes of helping other families make an informed decision in their childcare needs. We currently have 3 children enrolled at this center. We have been with them for approximately 2 years. Under the previous director, we were looking to get out of that place as it seemed everyone was unhappy from teachers to children. About 4 months into our attendance, they brought in a new center director, Ms. Victoria, who has done a 180 degree turn with this place. She has made so many positive changes! What was once a mediocre childcare center, has become one of the best in the area. We speak from experience as we have come from several other centers to include a kindercare, which was beyond horrible (we lasted a week there)! Ms. Victoria, Ms. Alma and their teachers genuinely care about every child in that center. They treat them with kindness and love, as if they were their own.Ms. Victoria is the heart of this place and the glue that keeps it together! Under her supervision, you don’t have to worry about leaving your child for the day, which is our number one concern as parents. They are in great hands! And unlike the previous Kindercare we attended, here we get constant updates through the kindercare app on our children from notes to photos and even videos.Ms. Victoria, Ms. Alma and the staff at Telegraph Road Kindercare are what make this center distinguish itself from others in this area. I HIGHLY recommend this place!”

Without going into too much detail, ACP went out of its way to work with us regarding her fall registration and we are beyond grateful for their understanding/kindness!! We highly recommend ACP; the experience is great, prices more than fair and staff = amazing!!!”

Our daughter (toddler) loves her teachers, has made measurable gains in her language and social skills, and we feel secure knowing that the staff loves and cares for her while she is there. “Our son will be in 8th grade this year. He's been attending Queen of Apostles since 1st grade and we've had a great experience. Starting with the Parish, teachers, principal, school staff and classmates it's been amazing. We would recommend this school without a doubt. We know our child is secure, respected and cared for. Queen of Apostles is a small school that makes you feel like family. They have great advance math classes to challenge the students, multiple clubs like math club, robotics and chess. Sports teams like basketball & tennis. Our child was guide both spiritually and academically to become a confident young man.Thank you Queen of Apostles for all these wonderful years!”

“Northeast Stars, the whole teaching and administrative team, and the owner, Sharon, have far far exceeded our expectations. At the end of the day, much of the quality early childhood development comes down to the people who spend hours and hours each day with a child. And as much as we love the classroom environment, administrative professionalism, communication/use of technology, curriculum, all those things that other programs in this area try to sell themselves on, what we really appreciate about NES is the depth of experience and attentive care that the teachers bestow on each child. They carefully observe him, know his strengths and weaknesses as an individual (in some cases with more perceptiveness than us), and tailor their approach to integrating him into classroom accordingly. Our son has really blossomed from a very tentative 3-year old who cried every day upon starting school (after 1.5 years COVID), to an almost 4-year old who has developed a close circle of friends, a growing sense of independence, and greater willingness to try new things outside of his comfort zone. During this very critical period of early childhood development, we are privileged to have the warm, loving care of the entire staff at NES.”
