“The Lucky Knot in Old Town Alexandria is such a fun boutique to visit. I absolutely love the nautical and coastal vibes throughout the store—it’s like stepping into a New England summer. Their dresses and tops are so cute, especially the ones with anchors and bold stripes. I found a couple of great pieces that are perfect for warm-weather outings.
The shop itself is beautifully organized and inviting. It’s a great place to pick up something unique for a beach trip or just to add a pop of color to your wardrobe. Staff were warm and welcoming, offering help without being pushy. If you're into preppy, seaside-inspired fashion, this place is definitely worth checking out!”

I usually come to the store with my 3- and 1-year old (which as you can imagine at a fancy boutique can be risky), and they help to entertain the kids so I can have an enjoyable shopping experience. “The King Street store is one of the best. I am always greeted upon entry into the store and a fitting room is automatically reserved for me. Allison, Rita, Tricia, Dionna and everyone else takes such great care of me. Whenever I have an appointment, they'll pull a variety of options based on my needs. If something is not available in my size, they will make sure to order it and have it delivered directly to my house. They also notify me of upcoming promotions. More important than any of that is the welcome and nurturing atmosphere Allison creates. The King Street store always treats its customers with compassion and upmost respect. I will only shop in this location.”

“For many years this store has carried interesting designs in beautiful fabrics for the woman who likes to dress well for work and evenings out. They also carry a sizable array of interesting, one of a kind jewelry, and gorgeous scarves. So glad they survived the pandemic! I bought a jacket that will take me from the office to dinner out afterwards in a creative yet very comfy fabric. It's well worth a trip when you're in Old Town.”

“I popped in this cute little shop over the weekend and was pleasantly surprised when I saw the vast selection of vintage pieces. I fell in love with a Japanese robe and the ladies were extremely helpful, even when I said I would return at a later date to buy it. But I just could not leave it there. I rushed back to make the purchase, and the ladies informed me that they were running a sale on florals. SOLD!! They even offered alterations if the robe fell too long on me...I am so short...but it fit perfectly. Thank you so much ladies for all your help and enthusiasm! I will be returning soon.”

“This is a great place to get high quality, gently used kids' clothing! This place has been around a long time, although they did move from one unit in the shopping center to a new one in the past fife years or so. They do a great job of being selective about what they carry and pricing it appropriately. They have tons of my favorites including Hanna Anderson, Gap, Crew Cuts, Patagonia, and more. They have lots of great kids shoes as well--things that would normally be pricier, like Keen, Sperry, etc. I have not consigned with them although I probably should. One thing I really love is that they promote their items on Instagram (handle 529hollinhall) and you can even reserve and pay for items there. They are very active on there AP you can find what you want without having to do much browsing.”
