“I went in for an exchange that my mom purchased in Tennessee for me and I just not feeling a new style. The manager A tall handsome African American Brother who had a smile from heaven , but told vet nice lady Lannette to help me out with fitting ect ect ect . What was I explaining to the net but my issue was with my changing of my body and my bras and everything else she was on mission to make sure I left out there with Brother was comfortable and fit me and have a lot of coffee area left over and I just was trying to bro she brought one and was explaining to her. I thought she just sent me out and I said this one feels like the bus and she said well you know what then you’re 38 and so I wasn’t 40 but she made sure I left out of there with the right size and I felt more comfortable. You know being a fortyish new mom you know and stuff so but she just was so nice and like it didn’t matter she was gonna work for me even though it was just an exchange she was gonna work for me just like she would have a customer in there going to spend $1000 and I told her I ain’t coming back in there unless I need something and she’s there to help me because she’s a good customer service and I told the manager that handsome guy beautiful smile and I said I’m gonna leave a review online because you know what people do that more people would get recognized for their hard work, their dedication to the customer and the service they offer and guarantee it! Lennette You’re My Fav VS Girl with the tape measure. You sure know what honest hard work is and the golden rule because you was so good to me and I’m sure you treat everyone of your customers that way and you know this generation doesn’t treat the public or paying customer well at all! But good ole Lannette sure went above and beyond for me and I want her to be recognized! Amen!!!”

“I will say it’s higher end boutique that have cute options. I like that they have local items and support small businesses artisans. My only two comments is they could be more friendlier. Sometimes I feel like they can be judge mental vibe, which could deter customers. Additionally, they have a light that flickers on and off for the past year. Some people have light sensitivity and I wish they could get that fixed.”

“i think they must have some company policy on only taking a max of X number of items from any person coming to consign at once, which is totally fine. i wouldn’t take it personally if they reject your items for consignment - i have kept some of the stuff they rejected and brought it back at other times at which point they took additional items that they previously rejected (can be a seasonality issue, stuff they’re specifically looking for at different times, or just luck of the draw depending on who’s reviewing your items).
to the people saying you’re better off selling on XYZ online platforms that is absolutely true - i mean you’ll obviously get more $$ payoff selling items and keeping 100% of the profit yourself but if you’re lazy, looking for convenience, and especially if you shop here and are part of the ‘ecosystem’ so to say it’s worth to consign and use your sales credit against purchases you make. lots of meh items in their stores but have gotten some of my cutest pieces from a current boutique so you just have to keep a discerning eye”

“This family-run business does a good job of fur repair, maintenance (glazing), and cold storage, at a fair price. I brought them a vintage mink jacket that I'd inherited from my grandmother. The other companies I'd brought it to had tried to talk me out of repairing it, as it was in very dry condition, sun bleached, and prone to tears and shedding. "But wouldn't you like a nice new fur coat [for only $10,000]?" Not really. L.A. Moves gave me a fair price for the repairs, which they did, but then I got really busy and left my jacket there for three years. They took care of it and charged me a discounted rate for the storage when I returned. They also made me think about wearing it more, since it's short, which was helpful, because I'd been thinking you only wear furs to special events. Most importantly, there is no more shedding or tears (though I'm very careful with it now)!”
“I came in today and I had one of the best shopping experiences I’ve had at South Moon Under. I’ve come into this location before and has worked with Shayla one of the mangers there she’s amazing! In the fitting room she’s honest but super sweet. It never feels like she’s trying to sell me something she genuinely wants you to love what you’re buying! It was a very busy day today and she still made sure to check on me twice in the fitting room. There was an associate name Sharon in the fitting room and she is truly a gem! She was so helpful even though the fitting room was packed. And the store had so much great stuff in! Had such a great time just had to leave a review!!”

“I was visiting Arlington and popped into J.Crew. I love shopping their online store as I don't have one close to home, so I lucked out when I saw it in the directory at the mall. As always, I wanted to buy up the whole store, but didn't. I found the perfect sweater in chocolate brown. Huge plus that it was marked down! I was not helped by staff, but didn't need it either. I did notice that there were a couple of colors in this sweater, but this fall color was more expensive than the others. Quality was just as expected for JCrew. They don't disappoint. Comfy sweater.”

I found an amazingly comfortable bra and decided to get it in every available color and also grabbed a few pair of underwear as well. Unfortunately not every color was available in store so I ordered two additional bras online for pickup.When I came to pick them up I noticed that another guest was checking out and being given an adorable pink tote with her purchase. I asked about how to get the free tote and thats when I found out about the awesome promotion: free gift with $100 purchase. (During the course of the sale I ended up spending a total of $189 including the bras I purchased online)I point out that I’d just spent $100, and was told “ohhhh… that’s too bad…? BUT you can spend ANOTHER $100 if you’d like! ?”And I was like “but including my current pickup I’m close to spending $200 already”“Oh well”, there’s nothing else we can do is what I was told.Me: “What if I bring back my other items and rebuy them?”Store Associate: “Yes, but your total will still have to be $100”Me: “okay”I was also told that the promotion would not continue past memorial day, but when I spoke with customer care, I was told the promotion would continue through the 4th of june.So I went all the way home that day to get my original purchase, unworn, tags still intact, with the receipt, and brought those items back to the store reprocess my transaction.I was again warned that I’d have to pay again for my items after receiving the refund. I assured them that I expected nothing less, and then was asked if I was a member of the loyalty program.When I replied no, I was told “well you can’t get the bag because it’s only for loyalty program members”. I shared with them that I wasn’t previously offered the opportunity to sign up for the rewards program, and they GENEROUSLY offered me the chance to sign up!! Thank you both so much, again for handling my transaction and giving me a chance to enjoy the same perks as your other clientele!I really love the tote (it’s gorgeous!), and the quality of the undergarments here.The style of bra I chose is made from a degradable lace that breaks down 10x faster than traditional lace. It is amazingly comfortable- so much so that I forget I’m wearing it.”

I’m posting because I wanted to leave a GOOD review for the staff at this location (at least in my experience today).To be clear, I’m not talking about the rep on the other line of the 800 number I called to work out a payment issue—he was rude and short with me.The actual sales rep at the store I worked with today was helpful, patient, and kind to my child. When I asked about a return on an order, she was pleasant and polite the entire time. The other reps in store were friendly, too.”

“I was dreading my mother of the groom dress shopping until I walked in to Crystal Boutique. I am a size 18 so any dress I tried on made me look enormous and completely emphasized all the most unattractive parts of my body. When I walked in I was greeted warmly and welcomed by everyone. Annick was my glamorous stylist and put me in only 3 dresses. She looked at me and knew what styles would flatter my shape. I just bought a dress that makes my body look as good as it could possibly look. It's elegant and special and I am on the top of the moon!”
