Baine's Books & Coffee is a wonderful and cozy gem in Appomattox, offering a perfect atmosphere to sit down, relax, read a book, or get together. The space is fascinating, cool, unique, and artsy, with eclectic sections of books including historical biographies, works on faith and spirituality, the classics, and a cute children’s section. There is also a good selection of records. The food and coffee are excellent, phenomenal, and delicious. The menu includes satisfying paninis, delicious hot chocolate, chai, mochas, scones, pasta salad, and sausage quiche. Service is friendly, prompt, and excellent. With easy parking, little seating areas, and a second level, it’s a great place to stretch your legs, study, or visit for open mic night. The cozy ambiance alone makes it worth a visit.
Just stopped in to get my grandson a pastry we were passing through and had stopped at the visitor center. Wish I had more time to explore this place it looked fascinating with all of the books and records and little seating areas to read and have coffee and pastry

The food was excellent and the atmosphere is perfect. I had a Makayla and it was delicious. The service is excellent and the people are very friendly. I highly recommend it for just a little wonderful place to sit down and get together or read a book!
