I love this place. It’s the best boutique workout in the area. Highly recommend!

Who knew boxing could be so much fun! I've been going for a little over a month (10 sessions or so). Haven't had a single bad workout yet!The coaches are knowledgeable and more importantly, energetic (shout out to coach Amanda for consistently great sessions)! Most if not all of them take time to ensure newcomers are getting the movements right - stance, position, balance - and you can workout at your own pace until you find the right rhythm. Most of the floor exercises are presented with alternate simpler movements which is again great for first timers but also if you are low on energy on that day.It can be tricky to pick-up the right boxing moves in the first 3-4 sessions but it is surprisingly not too difficult after that. I also recommend doing the Bash 101 session where each boxing movement is discussed and taught in detail, and really helps when you are just getting started.I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good workout regimen!

Update March 2023: Over 4 years and 350 classes in, I still absolutely love BASH. The sense of community has grown stronger and stronger and the class offerings continue to evolve. In addition to theme classes, BASH now also offers “elevated” versions of Endurance, Strength & Power classes, Level 2 classes, BASH & Breathe and Fight Camp. Fight Camp #1 took place last October & was an awesome experience. I’ll be taking part in my second Fight Camp starting next week! This studio is “home” to me, but BASH now also has studios in Ballston, Mosaic & Gainesville!Update: I've been going to BASH since they opened the Rosslyn studio and still absolutely love this workout! Everything I shared in my original review still holds true. Additionally, the team has done a great job of creating a space during COVID where I have felt comfortable going. I'm closing in on 200 classes and don't plan on stopping anytime soon.Original Review: BASH is a fun, fast-pace, high-energy workout that fits perfectly into my workout routine. It works my body differently than the other workouts that I do (which becomes more and more important as I get older...lol...having to keep the aging body guessing)!I love the mix of floor/strength work and boxing. A boxer, I will never be (not my goal) but I love how the time on the bag feels and always end there as my arms and shoulders feel so great after hitting the bag.The BASH team is absolutely wonderful. They truly live up to their mission of being in your corner and make a genuine effort to get to know their members. If you are looking to shake up your workout routine, I highly recommend adding BASH to it.... try it... the first class is FREE!

When I first joined this sports gym thought I found the correct place but It did not end up being that way. I left a complete month of paid unused classes during the summer because I had to leave the country, then had to pay yet another month when I tried to cancel upcoming months. losing 2 months of paid classes. All the staff are constantly offering you memberships/deals and contacting you to become a member at Bash but once you want to cancel the membership there is not an easy way out. First, there is no button to cancel the membership on the app they own but ofcourse they have a button to sign up. Secondly, you will have to call them so many times because they dont pick up the phone so then they can provide you with an email address so you can later request a membership cancellation. If they dont get back to you on time, you will run the risk of not having your membership cancelled and being charged an extra month. This is just a warning about the memberships they offer and my pure personal experience.

2 star rating to Bash Boxing because even though they offered relatively good workout routines and setup, they did not offer an ethical business practice to me. Please be extremely careful of keeping your payment card in file because they will charge you way much higher than what you consent and when you make a claim about it they will give you a store credit, literally giving you no other option than to spend that extra money in their store. Their reason behind this is that their "system" does NOT allow them to reimburse you. Just a heads up, Beware!

Went for a streamlined experience courtesy of Nudge, and it was fantastic. Pushed me way harder than I expected, and as an active duty Marine, means a good bit. The staff was exceptional and incredibly accommodating. Definitely worth the time and money, will be going again. Only negative is the parking situation, get there early and have Parkmobile ready to go to stream line the process.

Signed up through ClassPass. I got fatter during Covid, so I figured it was time to go back. This is not the class for you if you hate burpees and mountain climbers, so I was less than thrilled to do those. I really just wanted to take a nap. However, I liked the jumping jacks, punching, and standing core work. Overall, I don't know if I would go back, but the class had good energy. It was pretty packed for an evening weekday class. Probably 86-90% women with a handful of guys.

This is a fantastic gym and we are so grateful to have it in our neighborhood! My husband has benefited greatly from the instruction from all the highly trained staff. He has gained so much confidence in his workouts because of this gym. I highly recommend if you are looking for awesome instructors and fun classes with major results within a week! I cannot recommend this business enough. Highly recommend!

BASH Boxing is so much more than just a gym, it is a community! There are coaches that will support you on your fitness journey and give you all the support you need along the way. Everyone should give BASH a try whether you or new to working out or experienced!

If you get migraines, have epilepsy, or have a sensitivity to strobe lights, do not go to Bash Boxing. The workout is sensory overload with flashing blue and red strobe lights in a blackout room, extremely loud music, shouting instructors, and heat. There is no warning on the website or the customer intake forms. This is completely irresponsible. Bash must do its part to keep its customer safe. Instead it relies on customers to tell the instructor anything that might come up, even without having taken a class before. Do better, Bash. Prevent the next person from getting a migraine attack from your workout.

I wish I could give BASH 10 stars! The workouts are TOUGH but worth it. The coaches are all amazing and so motivating. I've also had about a million questions about membership, freezing, etc. during the pandemic, and Kelsey has been so patient through it all.

A great gym experience. The coaches are invested in your success and the workouts are both fun and challenging. Nothing like taking out your stress on the aqua bag.
