This review is overdue, but I wanted to recognize the customer service I received from Beverly during a visit in September.
When the system had trouble processing my return, Beverly didn't just pass me off. Instead, she immediately took ownership of the issue and proactively contacted the customer support line on my behalf so I wouldn't be held up. She also took the initiative to follow up on an incorrect charge related to my original order. Not only did she successfully resolve both issues, but she also provided a final follow-up call to ensure I knew everything was completely taken care of.
Her professionalism and willingness to go the extra mile were so appreciated! I had just had a frustrating return experience at a different location beforehand, so working with Beverly was a relief. I know customer service doesn't always get the credit it deserves, but it makes such a difference when it's delivered with genuine care and consideration.Thank you!

I would try and find someone else to order furniture from. The sales staff are pretty unhelpful and generally not knowledgeable about the products or the process to get them. We placed a large furniture order 3 months ago, receiving several in stock pieces quickly.
Cue the phone hold music. If we didn’t reach out to them, we would hear nothing. Items that became available sat, items that were delayed became delayed longer, no delivery fees waived. When we called, staff would look up the order number, recite the same info I could pull up online, and then make up a date the last item would be available. That time frame changed twice. When we became agitated, the sales manager hung up the phone. When we called back, items that weren’t ready suddenly became ready. Pure, mind numbing, idiocy. Customer service doesn’t come close to price tag.

Been a frustrating experience. They’re three weeks late on a furniture order and make no effort to follow up. Promises to return calls with information go unfulfilled. They’re nice people when you talk to them in the store, but the whole logistics and customer service operation seems incompetently run.

Beautiful furniture, disappointing service. I purchased a dining table, chairs, and a couch and scheduled delivery for eight days later, stressing that I would be leaving the country just two days after that. Despite multiple confirmations (at the time of purchase), through four follow-up calls, and an in-store visit, the promised delivery window passed with no arrival and no proactive update. Each representative offered a different explanation, exposing a clear disconnect between the store and the warehouse and leaving me to chase answers instead of enjoying my new home.
When you pay premium prices, you expect premium follow-through. Unfortunately, the customer care I received did not match the quality of Crate & Barrel’s products or the assurances given at the point of sale. I love the design, but this experience has eroded my trust in the brand. Regrettably, I won’t be shopping here again.

I had a very disappointing experience at Crate & Barrel today. When I arrived, there was a sign on the main door saying “Private Wedding Registry Event – please use the other door.” So I followed the instructions and entered through the other door. However, there was no sign at that door indicating that the store was closed to the public, no mention of an invitation being required, and no timeframe stating when the event would end or when customers could enter.
While I was browsing, a staff member approached me and asked if I was with the couple. I said no, and she seemed panicked and told me I needed to leave immediately. She questioned how I even entered, despite the door being open and the posted sign directing customers to use that entrance.
I was not aware that this was a closed event, and there was no clear communication to that effect. Another customer with a product in hand was also asked to leave in a similarly abrupt manner. We both felt the tone and handling of the situation were unnecessarily rude and unprofessional.
This was an unfortunate first experience for me as a customer. Clearer signage and more respectful communication would have made a big difference.

We had a terrible experience here. Our sales woman ordered just the top of the dining table, failing to tell us the price we paid apparently didn't include the base. We found that out when just the top was delivered after 3 months, and after we'd already sold our existing dining table.
Can you imagine?
Customer service was a joke and no help whatsoever. They insisted the only way to resolve it was to pay $410 for the base. Um, NO.
Please note: when you try to purchase the table online, there is no ability to order just the top! Pure insanity.
We love the $7k custom couch ordered but sadly, will never shop at C&B again. Ever.

We bought a nice dining room table here because the sales associate said that the leaves for the table store underneath the table. We got it delivered a few weeks later and it turns out the leaves in fact do not store underneath the table and we had to find alternate storage in our small apartment for 2 giant table leaves. We probably would not have spent so much on this table if we would have gotten accurate information from the employees, so make sure you do your own research.

Very well organized store. Friendly staff. Lots of natural light to see the true color of fabrics and textiles. If you like mid century modern or minimalist styles, this place is for you.

Everything on my daughter in law's Christmas List was in stock and the staff graciously boxed my gift items. As well, I returned an item that was damaged on delivery and the return was seamless. Their staff works well together to expedite checkout. My wait was 1 minute 😊

Wow I wish I lived closer to Crate & Barrel. An amazing store especially for unique items. Unfortunately I live hours away from one so don’t get to go often. It’s always clean, staff are nice, and so many great things to buy, especially for gifts, but also for yourself. Highly recommended.
