The Fairlington Community Center is a vibrant and engaging hub for the local community. Offering a range of amenities, the center boasts an impressive rope walk playground, perfect for children to explore and enjoy, especially during the warmer months. Inside, visitors can discover a VA Cooperative Extension office, providing a seed bank library and gardening resources, as well as a lending library and outdoor garden nooks with herbs. The center also hosts a weekly farmers market, attracting locals and visitors alike. With a gym that is more affordable than nearby options and serving as a polling place for elections, the Fairlington Community Center continues to be a valuable asset to the community, even after its transformation from a former elementary school in the late 1970s.
My kids enjoy the park on Sundays while I meander through the farmer's market. It makes for a great experience.

Beautiful new playground with clean bathrooms, but the parking lot is tiny for how busy it is. We were here on a Friday during the school day (granted FCPS was out, but not Arlington schools) and barely found a parking spot.

Love it! Always someone to play with, room to run or practice bike riding.
